  1. Fire 5-0published at 88 balls left

    Target 157

It's tense out there. Clarke and Bethell are going nowhere.

Feels like something's going to give. Will it be runs, or a wicket?

What a sequence of five balls there from Dawson.

Bit of cat and mouse going on here.

  4. Fire 4-0published at 90 balls left

    Target 157

Lovely start with the ball for Liam Dawson, who is all over Joe Clarke at the moment.

Inside edges, indecision from the batter and just one run from the five balls.

London Spirit are desperate to get their place back at the top of the table.

  5. Fire 3-0published at 95 balls left

    Target 157

Three singles from the first five balls as Fire start cautiously. But they were already two wickets down at this stage on Monday so that's something.

The key is, don't panic in that powerplay. If you don't get off to a good start, don't go out and lose two or three wickets.

  7. Fire 0-0published at 99 balls left

    Target 157

Joe Clarke solidly defends his first ball from Chris Wood.

They've just got to get off to a good start. The powerplays have been woeful for the Fire.

Welsh Fire have again opted for Jacob Bethell at the top of the order over the out-of-form Tom Banton.

He will certainly want to make an impression after a second-ball duck in his first outing. Joe Clarke is his opening partner, and they make their way to the middle through the fireworks in pursuit of 157.

The Welsh Fire have got to come out and just be free. They have to express themselves. Just free up and enjoy yourselves.

Welsh Fire slipped to 1-3 in their last outing against Southern Brave.

They'll be hoping that won't happen again.

But London Spirit have a fine bowling attack in Nathan Ellis, Liam Dawson and Jordan Thompson to name a few. It won't be an easy chase.

    Thanks, Tom.

You mentioned some sensational fielding. Check this out from Ben Duckett.

    Just ridiculous.

That innings had a little bit of everything. Great bowling, wonderful batting and some sensational fielding.

What will Welsh Fire's reply bring? Here is Ffion Wynne to guide you through it.

The total is below par but the way that they got to it will worry the Fire.

That means that the Spirit go in with a little spring in their step.

What a way to end the innings.

  17. 6 runs

    Spirit 156-6published at 100 balls

    And for good reason!

Kieron Pollard finally finds his range with the final ball of the innings, clubbing Jake Ball over mid-wicket for six.

It was Pollard's first and only six of the innings and means London Spirit reach 156-6 from their 100 balls.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 99 balls

Thompson run out (Duckett) 1 (Spirit 150-6)

Wicket! Jordan Thompson is well out of his ground as Spirit go for a second run.

Thompson effectively sacrificed his wicket there to ensure Pollard is on strike for the last ball.

  19. Spirit 149-5published at 98 balls

Kieron Pollard scrambles a single with a heave into the on-side. Jake Ball then gets away with a full toss that Jordan Thompson can only hit towards long-off for another single.

  20. Spirit 147-5published at 96 balls

That's not the worst ball in the world from Jake Ball, but his attempted yorker is clipped wonderfully off his pads by Kieron Pollard for four.
