Good stuff from Parnell! But Welsh Fire didn't get off to a good enough start. The start set the tone for the rest of the innings. It's not the easiest surface to bat on and I imagine the Superchargers will be quite proactive.

    Fire 114-4

    Finished with a single.

Not a great inning from winless Welsh Fire, there'll need some bowling performance to grab a first victory in their final home match in this year's competition.

But, you never know what a good score is until both teams have batted. A couple of quick wickets and the Superchargers could be in trouble.

Can they finish off with a couple of fireworks here? It's hit high and an attempted catch from Lyth. Did well to stop that.

  4. Fire 113-4published at 99 balls

    Duckett 63, Du Plooy 21

Ben Duckett goes big and Adam Lyth only just stops the ball on the boundary. Two more runs.

  5. Fire 111-4published at 98 balls

Ben Duckett adds two more with another pull shot.

  6. Fire 109-4published at 97 balls

Ben Duckett can't get a yorker away. Dot.

  7. Fire 109-4published at 96 balls

Du Plooy pulls Parnell for a single.

  8. Fire 108-4published at 95 balls

And a single to finish David Willey's set. His 20 balls go for 0-17 with 10 dots. Brilliant stuff from the England man.

Wayne Parnell will bowl the final five deliveries.

  9. Fire 107-4published at 94 balls

The boundaries stop with two more singles off the next two balls.

  10. Fire 105-4published at 92 balls

What a way for Duckett to bring up his fifty! He knows the job is not yet done.

  12. 50 runs

Fifty for Ben Duckettpublished at 91 balls

    Fire 101-4

David Willey returns to the attack and Ben Duckett immediately hammers a tennis shot over his head for four.

That's his fifty off 41 balls and it also brings up Welsh Fire's 100.

A little bit of innovation from Duckett. He didn't quite execute the previous ball but gets it this time.

  16. Fire 96-4published at 89 balls

More like it. This time Ben Duckett's scoop comes off as he chips the ball over the keeper for four.

Duckett moves on to 48 off 39.

  17. Fire 91-4published at 87 balls

Great bowling. Wiese's first two balls go for a dot and a single.

This has been some bowling performance from the Superchargers.

  18. Fire 90-4published at 85 balls

    Duckett 43, Du Plooy 19

And another dot to finish as Ben Duckett can't make a connection trying to scoop one over his shoulder.

David Wiese is set to bowl the next five.

Good bowling from Willey. It's burst their bubble a little bit.

  20. Fire 90-4published at 84 balls

    Duckett 43, Du Plooy 19

A single and a valuable dot.
