Ohhh!
It stays not out but it is a lot closer than we all thought.
The technology shows it was umpire's call, clipping the top of the stumps.
That is not going to help Katherine Brunt's mood.

Ohhh!
It stays not out but it is a lot closer than we all thought.
The technology shows it was umpire's call, clipping the top of the stumps.
That is not going to help Katherine Brunt's mood.
Katherine Brunt returns and she hits Suzie Bates on the pad first up.
The umpire shakes his head but Brunt and Nat Sciver decide to send it upstairs.
Too high? I reckon so.
Target 113
Alice Capsey is the new batter and she is up and running first ball, with a single down the ground.
Suzie Bates then does the same to move to 21 off 12 balls.
This has been a decent start to the Invincibles' chase.

Winfield-Hill got nothing of that. As far as opening partnerships go, that was underwhelming. Bates seemed to be the only aggressor.
Winfield-Hill c Glenn b Smith 5 (Invincibles 26-1)
Breakthrough!
The change to spin works almost immediately for Trent Rockets as Lauren Winfield-Hill miscues a straight drive and it goes straight to Sarah Glenn.
Rockets need wickets, that is the only way they will win this game and this was needed after Invincibles' start.

She absolutely enjoyed that one, Suzie Bates! Just held her pose.
Target 113
Dismissive from Suzie Bates.
She's nowhere near the pitch of this ball from Kathryn Bryce but she stands there and slaps it away to the boundary.
She is so good to watch.

With a low total on the board and the field up, leg spin could get the breakthrough. I'd love to see some leg spin here.
Target 113
Two singles end the set, but one comes via a misfield from Katherine Brunt. She's not having a great day at the moment.

Birmingham Phoenix & England bowler on BBC Radio
That's an Ab de Villiers-esque shot; getting down on one knee and just smashing it behind square!
Target 113
Suzie Bates, come on down.
Nat Sciver strays down the leg side and Bates just whips it away and over the ropes for the first six of the chase.

Looks like Sciver is just coming to bowl here. She will try to keep Suzie Bates inside her crease, Bates has the dancing shoes on more often than not.

Brunt, maybe a little straight here. She's bowling the wobble seam, a little bit of nip.
Target 113
Shot.
Katherine Brunt gives Suzie Bates a smidge of width and the New Zealander climbs into it and cuts away to the boundary.
Brunt and Nat Sciver have an animated conversation at the end of the set.

There's so much to learn from Katherine Brunt, both on and off the field.
One thing that strikes me about her is that she's always on her game.
Target 113
Lauren Winfield-Hill is up and running straight away with a cut.
Marie Kelly does well to stop it and keep the England opener down to a single.
Katherine Brunt is currently smiling near the Rockets dugout as Alana King speaks to her.
Maybe she's over that unfortunate run out already.
Invincibles' chase of 112 is about to get under way. Who do you think will win? Thumbs up for Rockets, thumbs down for Invincibles.
It doesn't feel like Trent Rockets have really got their batting right so far this season.
They have batted first in all three games this year and they've scored 119-5 v Originals, 116-9 v Phoenix and 112-8 v Invincibles.
They are the three lowest first innings totals in the women's competition this season.
Could they change their order? Marie Kelly, for example, opens for Loughborough Lightning and had a strike-rate of 152.05 in the Charlotte Edwards Cup this year. Rockets have struggled to get off to fast starts.

The Rockets will hope for Brunt to start well and get the ball to nip around early on.
Eva Gray was the pick of the Invincibles bowlers taking 2-16 from her 20 balls.
This was a lovely delivery to remove Mignon du Preez.
