This could be dangerous. Two in-form batters out in the middle and really strong foundation already set.
Looks like it's time for our pre-game match-up Perry vs ADR.

It made sense to take a bit more of a risk and get the run-rate up a bit because of the batting they've still got to come and the wickets in hand.
I'm very pleased for Katie Levick, though. She has been the best bowler on show today, she has been very effective in mixing up her pace and length.
WICKET
E Jones c Heath b Levick 34 (Phoenix 104-2)
And it's Levick with the breakthrough as it so often is. E Jones can't get enough of the full delivery and spoons it up to Heath on the off-side.
Superchargers needed that although it's now Ellyse Perry striding out to the crease so I can't imagine they're too excited just yet.

I'm with you, she could have made more of an effort. Those first couple of steps towards the ball were too tentative.

What a good looking shot! Gaby Lewis wasn't far from it, could she have done better?

When it's not one Jones, it's the other. E Jones straight back down the ground over Jenny Gunn's very tall head for six.

Amy Jones is having a really, really good time out there. The Superchargers, however, need to tighten up their fielding.
I wonder how many minutes the Joneses have spent together out in the middle throughout their careers...

It is a good sign for Beth Langston that she is able to walk off by herself.

A handy delivery for a batter there when there's only one ball being bowled!
The two Joneses are looking very strong.
Phoenix 77-1
Armitage finishes the set of five. Gunn gives chase and tries to palm it back to Heath who had no idea it was coming. Another boundary to A Jones.

Armitage has switched back to pace bowling because A Jones was going after her spinners. There's been some loose balls on offer and these two have capitalised.
Put that A Jones down the ground four on repeat for all aspiring batters. Textbook.
Langston slips in her approach and is receiving treatment on the pitch. This would be such a blow for her as she's already had so many injury setbacks throughout her career.
Umpires call for a technical time out.

Another poor delivery, way too short and Amy Jones is too good to miss out on that.
Phoenix 67-1
E Jones 24, A Jones 22
Get Amy Jones on Strictly Come Dancing because her footwork is impeccable. Easy pickings for her and it's two boundaries into the leg side.

Wow, I didn't see that coming. It was a brilliant bit of bowling by Levick.
I don't think Eve Jones thought it would be overturned but the last-gasp review has saved her!

Levick thought she had Eve Jones trapped lbw but review shows the ball pitching outside leg.

The Phoenix are going along nicely now. These two hold the key now after the big wicket of Devine.
Phoenix 52-1

The fifty is up and we can see Ellyse Perry ready on the boundary. This Phoenix batting line-up is so strong.
But right now Jones squared are showing intent finding the boundaries while also rotating the strike
