They've got great depth in their bowling attack so why not experiment. Although Beth Langston is out today after she slipped on her approach in the previous game.

Lee isn't bothered by who is bowling because she's still going to swing. She whips one round to the boundary on the leg side.

Stand and deliver she finishes the set with another.

Lizelle Lee is trading in boundaries. She finds the gap past point as Slater struggles a bit with her line and follows it up with a wide.

Emma Lamb has a great front row view of Lee batting but I'm sure she would love some of the strike too!

We love a match-up and today we've picked out two women who really know how to hit a long ball.

While both have had their struggles at times in this tournament, I have no doubt that these two pros could be key to the fight for a spot in the top three.

Alyssa Healy, while bossing it behind the sticks, struggled for form in front of them and was short of runs until their game against the Phoenix. Her 46 saw some clean hitting, big boundaries and proof that she really is one of the world's leading players, and even they sometimes have quiet patches. But it looks like she's ready to make some noise again.

Lizelle Lee has not yet hit the heights we know she can and has a top score of 25 (albeit from just 16 balls) since joining the Originals this year. However, the South African has been around long enough to not let this rattle her and, with a partisan crowd, there could be fireworks when she comes out to open.

Manchester Originals captain Kate Cross: "It is a fresh pitch and it is a great day so we hope to get some runs on the board.

"We spoke about how important today it is - it does feel like a must-win game. The margins are so small in this tournament but it has felt like we're close to the big teams."

Remember...the stats tell us that 75% of games here have been won by the team batting first so Cross will be hoping this works in their favour again today.

The Northern Superchargers pushed a high-flying Phoenix side right to the wire in their last game. Despite Aussie star Alyssa Healy rediscovering some form and hitting a stunning 46, it was not enough to combat some scintillating batting from Amy Jones and a world-class bowling performance from Sophie Molineux. The team in purple fell five runs short in a valiant chase.

For the Originals, it was also a hotly-contested previous game where they looked to be cruising against the Southern Brave. Emma Lamb hit a lovely 57 but there was a collapse from the team in black and they slumped to a nine run defeat that saw them lose six wickets for just 24 runs in the last 22 deliveries.

Both teams face an uphill battle if they are to hold any hope of qualifying for the top three and a big win today is crucial to keeping the dream alive.

To start proceedings Kate Cross' Manchester Originals women will take on Hollie Armitage's Superchargers.

Both teams have played three and won one and are coming off the back of a loss so it's set to be a gritty battle to regain some momentum as we head into the latter half of the tournament.
