David Willey will bowl the next over. Dew is already a HUGE factor and we've only had 60 balls.
This will suit England.

Halfway through the innings after being asked to bat first and Pakistan are being held together by Babar Azam.
Even-stevens at the halfway stage.

Sweet timing from Iftikhar. You'd think with two fielders out there that the boundary wouldn't be on but it's great timing and placement.
Babar 39, Iftikhar 5
Sweet, sweet timing from Iftikhar who finds the boundary off Adil Rashid, bisecting two fielders on the leg side.
Five runs and a wicket from Sam Curran's latest over.
He beats Iftikhar Ahmed last ball with some devilish pace.

Babar is on strike because the batters crossed. I think today is the last game where that will ever happen. The laws change tomorrow so the new batter will be on strike regardless.

Banged into the pitch, a cutter to take the pace off from Curran and Haider has struggled to get the timing.
Duckett used his pace run around and take the catch. He's an absolute whippet around the outfield.
Haider c Duckett b Curran 18 (Pak 62-3)
Gone!
The short ball does it for Haider Ali who can't get enough on a pull shot and ends up chipping the ball to Ben Duckett who's running in from the boundary.

That is an incredible shot. That was not a bad length that Rashid bowled to someone coming down the wicket but Haider Ali has flat-batted it 83 metres.

Haider Ali sprinted at Rashid and hacked it over wide long-on. A big old dent in the advertising board as well.
Shot!
Haider Ali marches down the ground and swats Adil Rashid over the top. Pure power.
England are a little out of ideas.
Two singles off spinner Adil Rashid bring up Pakistan's fifty. The hosts have rallied.
That shot has an air of a Strictly samba to it. Tis the season...

It wasn't a poor delivery from Sam Curran but just too short to a player of Babar's calibre.
Babar 31, Haider 9
Anything short and Babar Azam's eyes light up. Sam Curran drops his length back and Babar swipes it to the boundary with a back-foot swivel.
Three singles start Sam Curran's first over. England could do with another wicket.
Babar 25, Haider 7
The powerplay finishes without any further drama. Just as well.
