The depth and the talent that India could have after the women's IPL could be scary.

  6. Eng 66-8published at 16 overs

Now India are fully deserving of he position they are in but this was a horrible decision from the umpire a little earlier.

Can England get to 85 here?

There's so much experience from Verma.

She's played in Test matches and two ODIs. She's an unbelievable player and can pass on all the knowledge.

  9. Eng 63-8published at 15 overs

In comes England's second Smale, Sophia. She's not related to Seren. She's off the mark with a boundary down to fine leg. With Alexa Stonehouse striking another early in the over it makes it their most profitable over of the innings.

If she was a size 5 she might've been in.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.1 overs

Baker st Gosh b Verma 0 (Eng 53-8)

Gone! It's India's two seasoned full internationals combining as wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh whips off the bails after an off-break from Shafali Verma.

Baker's boot has slipped an inch or two out of her ground.

  12. Umpire reviewpublished at 14.1 overs

Not a stumping now too? India think so...

  13. Eng 53-7published at 14 overs

England are down to the bowlers now. Hannah Baker is the latest to head out to the middle.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.5 overs

Groves run out Tiwari 4 (Eng 53-7)

What can you say about this performance in the field? Soumya Tiwari has one stump to hit from extra cover and she does just that. Josie Groves is a few yards short.

    India have been sensational.

That's out for me. Good fielding from India, it's been exceptional!

  16. Umpire reviewpublished at 13.5 overs

Oh this is out too isn't it? A direct hit in the field.

  17. dropped catch

Stonehouse dropped on sixpublished at 13.5 overs

Not this time from Archana Devi. A few overs after that worldie she spills a catch off Alexa Stonehouse diving forward.

Lovely shot from Stonehouse. Classical cover drive and beats the diver. Few more of those from England.

  19. Eng 52-6published at 13 overs

Oh that's a good shot from Alexa Stonehouse! She splits that offside field off the bowling of India superstar Shafali Verma.

Verma has played 51 T20s for the senior India team. That's what England are up against.
