  1. Division Two update

    Derbyshire have lost their first wicket at Cardiff with Harry Came bowled by Kiran Carlson for 57. They are 132-1 - with Luis Reece 62 not out - 281 ahead of Glamorgan.

    Worcestershire are putting their foot down against Yorkshire, who have part-timers Finlay Bean and James Wharton doing the bowling at Headingley, and are 149-2, a lead of 276.

    Jake Libby is 69 not out and Jack Haynes, in his final innings for the Pears, has 70.

    It's Jake Ball's final day as a Nottinghamshire player - and that catch is a pretty good way to sign off.

    Ball races in from the third man boundary to take a tumbling effort as Max Holden slices a widish delivery from Brett Hutton.

    That makes Hutton the County Championship's outright leading wicket-taker with 62, edging ahead of Essex's Simon Harmer.

    Sai Sudharsan picks up four runs with a gorgeous drive through backward point with a deft roll of the wrists.

    Might he slip into IPL batting mode here?

    He'll keep the strike with a drive to cover for one.

    This feels a bit like the middle overs of a one-day match at the moment, with Sam Robson and Max Holden working the singles and punishing the odd stray delivery as they look to extend Middlesex's lead quickly.

    Holden has just pummelled a Brett Hutton full toss to the boundary and the visitors have added 40 in the first six overs of the day - but they'll need a lot more before they can think about a declaration.

    Hampshire keeper Ben Brown had plenty of time to effect the dismissal.

    Durham are still waiting for their first wicket of the day at the Riverside. Leicestershire are 21-0 and need 293 more to avoid an innings defeat.

    Worcestershire have avoided further damage so far against Yorkshire, adding five in four overs to their overnight 18-2. They are 150 ahead.

    Derbyshire's openers are still together at Sophia Gardens - they are 90-0, with Luis Reece 43 not out, and 239 ahead of Glamorgan. How many do they want before the likely declaration?
