  1. Post update

    That's it for today.

We do it all again tomorrow with a double-header at Old Trafford as Manchester Originals take on Birmingham Phoenix in both the men's and women's competitions.

Take a read of Tom Mallows' report of this fantastic tied match.

    We'll see you on Monday.

  2. Post update

It's been a dramatic day of cricket - four exciting games, three of them competitive, one featuring some huge hitting from Northern Superchargers. Enjoy the best of the day's action below.

  3. 'That's so tight' - Curran

Match hero Tom Curran speaking to Sky Sports: "That run-out, that's so tight. I guess you could say a fair result in the end. It could have gone either way on that last ball.

"When I came in there was one option. We had to go - we needed about 12 a set. They have two world class death bowlers. I was lucky to get a few out of the middle - what a game.

"It was amazing. A lot of the time when you're playing you can't hear the crowd, it's just white noise, but I could hear it there, it was loud. I think Nasser Hussain said that last year we didn't have many close games, now we've had last ball finishes in almost every game - it's been a great start to The Hundred.

"It's always amazing playing here at The Oval. The wicket was a bit two-paced, in the sense that some were flying through, Gus Atkinson had some in our innings, the same with Rauf and Shaheen. But it is a good wicket here and if you do get bat on ball you get good value for your shots and it's a quick outfield."

  4. Post update

That is the first tie in the history of The Hundred - in either the men's or women's competitions.

  5. Post update

Crushing for Welsh Fire who thought they'd done enough. Some superb bowling from Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi took them close, while Ben Green took two fantastic catches in the deep after dropping a steepler early on.

  6. Match tied

    Not out!

The big screen teased us - they showed the word out first! Tom Abell started celebrating, he thought Tom Curran was gone. David Payne had to correct his captain.

That was a magnificent effort from Tom Curran, who finished on 38* off 18 balls, dragging his team into contention. Some magnificent clean hitting.

  7. Umpire review

Curran hits into square! He's racing for two, it's a huge dive as he comes back to the striker's end. Has he beaten the throw?

    This is so close!

  8. WICKET

Narine run out Phillips 2 (Invincibles 136-7)

    Narine is gone!

Curran hits Payne into mid-wicket and races off for two to retain the strike. Glenn Phillips charges in to pick the ball up and throws down the bowler's end. Narine isn't anywhere near getting in.

In comes Gus Atkinson, his job is just to run. Three for the win, two for the tie.

  9. Invincibles 135-6

His brother jumps in excitement in the dressing room, clutching his pads in a bear hug.

  10. Invincibles 128-6

    11 runs needed

Payne comes in from round the wicket to left-hander Narine. He tires to bowl wide - too wide, that's an extra.

  11. Invincibles 127-6

    12 runs needed

Here's David Payne for the final set. Onto the legs of Tom Curran, he can only clip it away for a single.

Slower ball yorker from Shaheen - dot ball.

  16. Invincibles 123-6

    16 runs needed

    22 runs needed

Welsh Fire bring back Shaheen for the penultimate set. Narine runs a single.

  18. Invincibles 116-6

    23 runs needed

Two players throwing the kitchen sink and then some here.

Haris Rauf charging in, Tom Curran hefting the bat. The Pakistan all-rounder has the better of the rest of the set, just two more from it but Curran has done some significant damage.

  19. Invincibles 114-6

    25 runs needed

Tom Curran goes again! This time off Haris Rauf.

    31 runs needed

A huge six from Tom Curran down the ground quells some of the Invincibles nerves.

Sunil Narine is the new batter at the other end.
