London Spirit captain Heather Knight: "It's no secret we would have bowled first as well. We have to assess the pitch quite quickly, its been under covers for a little bit. I'm sure they will get a bit of swing out there. But we want to play a certain way and have two players at the top of the order who will look to take the game on at all times.

"I'm starting to think we were cursed and thought another game would be rained off. But we are chomping at the bit to get out there and play some cricket."

Southern Brave captain Anya Shrubsole: "There's been some rain around and the pitch has been under covers. There's some more forecast but let's hope not so we can get out there and make good use of the conditions.

"My general preference would be to bowl first given the make up of our team. We have a strong batting line-up and think we can chase pretty well. But this decision is massively conditions based.

"The main thing about playing at Lord's is the slope for both the bowlers and batters. But most people have played here so hopefully they can cope pretty well."
