  1. Superchargers 69-2published at 55 balls

    Ooooh, that was almost gone!

Litchfield steps up and drives new bowler Amanda Jade-Wellington hard into the covers.

Dottin dives full-length and gets a hand to the ball, but not enough. The batters run though and the West Indian all-rounder ruefully shakes her sore fingers.

From the 2021 and 2022 editions of The Hundred, 135 is the par women's score at Headingley. The Superchargers could well get close, or pass that in this innings.

  3. Superchargers 64-2published at 50 balls

Litchfield and Armitage exchange reverse sweeps off the bowling of Fi Morris.

Left-handed Litchfield gets four through the point region, before the right-handed Armitage gets two through an empty slip cordon.

  4. Superchargers 56-2published at 45 balls

Tight first set from the Originals skipper, just the three from it as the Superchargers find themselves somewhat becalmed since the wicket of Kelly.

  5. Superchargers 53-2published at 40 balls

Captain Hollie Armitage has come in to bat for the Superchargers, but she stands at the non-striker's end for Fi Morris's set, as Litchfield bats out four dot balls before taking two leg-side from a full toss.

Meanwhile we're about to see England superstar Sophie Ecclestone bowl for the first time today.

Kelly run out 22 (Superchargers 50-2)

    Oh my!

The Superchargers were going so well, but that's a howler. Litchfield hits square and sets off. They were a little casual running the first and the Australian sends her partner back upon reaching the non-striker's end.

Kelly is already pretty far down the wicket and her despairing dive back to her crease isn't enough to beat Ellie Threlkeld, who whips off the bails.

That's a beautiful shot from Litchfield just dancing down the track and putting the ball back past the bowler. She is batting beautifully so far.

  8. Superchargers 49-1published at 33 balls

Phoebe Litchfield did not come to mess about.

She's all over the bowling of Deandra Dottin, taking her for three consecutive fours. She crashes the ball past the West Indian's header for four down the ground. A second four follows, ramps the next ball and then adds the third through point.

  9. How's stat?!published at 11:22 British Summer Time 13 August 2023

Phoebe Litchfield has become just the third woman to pass 150 runs for the 2023 edition of The Hundred. Southern Brave duo Smriti Mandhana (185) and Maia Bouchier (176) are the only players with more.

  10. Superchargers 37-1published at 30 balls

In comes off-spinner Fi Morris to rattle through five deliveries.

Kelly and Litchfield push through four singles.

  11. Superchargers 33-1published at 25 balls

Australian Phoebe Litchfield is the new batter and she takes a single through point.

Kelly backs away to Gaur's final delivery, the seamer follows her. The Superchargers batter gets a big inside-edge and the ball races away through fine-leg for four.

That's the end of the powerplay.

You could sense that Jemimah Rodrigues wanted to try and do something different to get going. Mahika Gaur followed her and did well to get that wicket. Gaur is a talent and she has bowled pretty well so far.

    Rodrigues c George b Gaur 9 (Superchargers 27-1)

    Gaur has the breakthrough!

Rodrigues tries to loft the young seamer over mid-wicket but can only pick out Katie George in the deep.

The Indian star looked a little bottled-up in that innings and perhaps tried to force the shot on this occasion.

  14. Superchargers 25-0published at 20 balls

Kathryn Bryce continues from the Kirkstall Lane end and Kelly pulls low through square for four.

Rodrigues is trying to get at the bowlers and put them off their length.

  16. Superchargers 18-0published at 15 balls

A difficult start for West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin, sending his first ball extremely wide of the off stump of Jemimah Rodrigues.

Another slightly closer wide follows, but Dottin subsequently finds her line, and Rodrigues can only flash at a short ball as it hurries through to the keeper.

Just the two extras off the set.

  17. Superchargers 16-0published at 10 balls

Kathryn Bryce takes the second for the Originals and Rodrigues clips the ball square and to the ropes.

Once you hit it on this field, there is absolutely no chance of stopping it. This is a great start.

  19. Superchargers 10-0published at 5 balls

A strong start for the Superchargers as Rodrigues turns Gaur round the corner for the first four of the match, before Kelly cuts hard through cover for another boundary.

  20. Superchargers 1-0published at 1 ball

Like so many batters in this competition, Marie Kelly gets off the mark with a nudge into mid-wicket for a single.
