Even if Brook stayed in his crease, he would have had to go big. Very clever bowling from Usama Mir.

  10. Superchargers 72-3published at 40 balls left

Need 110 more runs to win

It's still a huge ask but the Superchargers keep themselves in it courtesy of an outside edge from left-hander Saif Zaib.

    Usama Mir will keep going.

  11. Oval Invincibles beat Birmingham Phoenix by 10 runspublished at 100 balls

Eva Gray scarifices herself, pushing through for a second run that was never on to keep the big-striking Issy Wong at the crease. She's miles off Ryana Macdonald-Gay who takes the bails off at the bowler's end.

New batter Sterre Kalis hits consecutive fours to leave Phoenix needing 20 from Paige Scholfield's final set of five balls.

Wong clubs Scholfield down the ground for a one-bounce four. Another big heave is cut off at long-off, they run two and Wong's next shot ricochets off her batting partner - two more.

11 needed off the final ball and Wong shells out to Kira Chatli at short third.

Job done for Oval Invincibles who rise to fourth position, while Phoenix are bottom with zero wins from five.

Of the Manchester Originals' six primary bowlers, only one is deemed a bad option to bowl at Adam Hose according to CricViz's captaincy grid. That bad option? Usama Mir.

    Hose c Walter b Mir 5 (Superchargers 57-3)

Usama Mir has another as Adam Hose clobbers a reverse sweep into the hands of backward point. Mir has bowled nine balls and taken three wickets for four runs. Superb.

  18. Superchargers 55-2published at 55 balls left

    Target 182

The Originals, dressed all in black, continue their squeeze with a good set from left-arm spinner Tom Hartley to back up Usama Mir.

  19. Scholfield harries Phoenixpublished at 90 balls

    Phoenix 113-4

Erin Burns tries the ramp shot off Paige Scholfield and gets it all wrong, she's clean bowled.

Invincibles keep Scholfield on and are rewarded with the wicket of Flintoff, who is caught out of her ground and stumped while slashing at a delivery. The opener never really got going, departing for 27 from 33.

She almost has a third wicket as Issy Wong sends the ball high into the Birmingham sky but Alice Capsey's foot nudges the rope at long-on as she balances taking the catch - that's six.

    30 needed from 10.

England's Harry Brook is the new batter.

The Originals possess plenty of bowlers capable of hitting the high 80s on the speed gun but Harry Brook should be key to counteracting this pace.

He has an exceptional T20 record against high pace, scoring 123 runs off 79 balls at a strike-rate of 155.

He's only been dismissed once by a delivery of over 87mph.
