    Duckett hits Curran for another four, this time down the leg side. Two very comfortable shots in the space of three balls from Duckett.

    Not an ideal start for Curran, a bit of a loosener and Duckett takes advantage. A four that looked like the Duckett we have seen throughout this summer with the bat.

    A good set on the whole from Spencer Johnson, just three singles coming from it, but there were two sides on top of that. Sam Curran will bowl the next five.

    Ben Duckett faces a tough test with his first delivery against Johnson. A top edge but it does land safe. A good start for the Australian quick.

  6. Elsewhere in the men's competition, a scintillating 83 runs off just 30 balls from Jamie Overton gave Manchester Originals a 40-run win over Northern Superchargers at Headingley.

  7. Earlier today at Edgbaston, South African all-rounder Marizanne Kapp inspired Oval Invincibles to a 10-run win over the Birmingham Phoenix, scoring 64* off just 40 balls.
