All times stated are UK

  1. WICKET

    Kalis lbw b Glenn 28 (Phoenix 47-3)

Umpire's call! Sterre Kalis trudges off for an entertaining 28 from 16 balls.

That's a big blow to Phoenix's hopes. She was playing beautifully.

  2. Phoenix review

Big moment! Sterre Kalis is given lbw off Sarah Glenn, and reviews it after a long discussion with Amy Jones.

That suggests she hasn't hit it, because she'd know straight away then.

  3. Phoenix 46-2

    Target 173

Phoenix continue to accelerate nicely as Amy Jones helps herself to four more off Charlie Dean.

The run-rate is very healthy for the Phoenix. Can London Spirit wrestle it back now that the powerplay is over?

  4. Phoenix 41-2

    Target 173

Oh, lovely! Sterre Kalis unveils a contender for shot of the day with a perfect lofted straight drive for six.

She holds the pose and admires her work for good effect, too.

  5. WICKET

    Flintoff b Dean 2 (Phoenix 29-2)

    Bowled through the legs!

Tess Flintoff goes for an ambitious sweep off Charlie Dean, misses, and the bowler initially appeals for an lbw before realising it's gone through and onto the stumps.

A perfect nutmeg from Dean, the stand-in skipper.

  6. Post update

Birmingham Phoenix have a big chase on their hands thanks to the work of Grace Harris earlier.

  7. Phoenix 29-1

    Target 173

A very eventful start to Lauren Filer's spell.

Sterre Kalis whacks a short-ish delivery for four, so the bowler goes even shorter but it's called a no-ball for being too high.

Kalis ramps the free hit for four, and swats the next over point for another.

Filer concedes 22 from just five balls. The short-pitched bowling did not work in her favour there.

  8. Phoenix 13-1

    Target 173

    Shot!

Sterre Kalis is in at three and welcomes Lauren Filer into the attack with a glorious drive through the covers for four.

  9. WICKET

    Devine c Kerr b Gibson 4 (Phoenix 4-1)

Four and out! Great catch by Amelia Kerr out on the square leg boundary.

Gibson tests Devine with a short ball which the batter can't resist, swatting it to her New Zealand team-mate Kerr who takes a smart tumbling catch.

The umpires have a quick check to make sure that the ball wasn't grounded, but Kerr made no mistake.

  10. Phoenix 4-0

    Target 173

A lovely start for Phoenix, as Sophie Devine clips the second ball for four off Danielle Gibson.

  11. Post update

Here come the London Spirit, full of smiles as they take their last huddle of this year's Hundred.

They are shortly followed by Phoenix openers Sophie Devine and Tess Flintoff.

  12. Post update

    Thanks, Sam.

High stakes, indeed, as Birmingham Phoenix seek their first win of the women's competition.

  13. Post update

Not long now until Birmingham Phoenix begin their chase, looking for the 173 runs they need to avoid going through the competition without a win.

Spirit will move up to sixth with a win. It's time for me to hand you over to Ffion Wynne for this high-stakes chase...

  14. Post update

Grace Harris was selfless is trying to get back for a highly unlikely second last ball. Plenty might have looked to protect their average...

As it was, she finished with 87 from 47 balls so that average has been bumped up anyway.

  15. Phoenix need 173 to win

Birmingham Phoenix have got it all to do if they are to claim their first win of the campaign.

Grace Harris was superb for London Spirit but the Phoenix bowling was not.

  16. WICKET

Harris run out (Flintoff) 87 (Spirit 172-5)

Grace Harris is run out attempting to get back for two from the last ball.

A fantastic knock from the Australian to take Spirit to an imposing total against a lacklustre Phoenix side.

  17. Spirit 171-4

    Harris 86, Scrivens 6

The century is gone but Grace Harris wallops Emily Arlott back over her head for four!

  18. Spirit 167-4

    Harris 82, Scrivens 6

Well, Grace Harris is back on strike after a bye through to Amy Jones...

  19. Spirit 166-4

    Harris 82, Scrivens 6

Thumped down the ground for a single. That's a blow to any hopes of a century for Grace Harris.

She needs a single from Grace Scrivens then she's got to hit three sixes in a row...

  20. Spirit 165-4

    Harris 81, Scrivens 6

    Brilliant from Grace Harris!

She skips down and pummels Katie Levick back down the ground for four.

Four more! Too short and Harris cuts it away behind square.
