All times stated are UK

  1. Spirit 9-0

Short again from Tess Flintoff to end the set. Straighter this time and Danielle Gibson pulls it away in front of square with some force.

Four more. Not the best five balls Flintoff will ever bowl.

  2. Spirit 4-0

Short, wide and slapped away for four by Grace Harris.

    A gift from Tess Flintoff.

  3. Post update

Eve Jones leads out the Phoenix as the fireworks go off at Edgbaston, followed by the big clouds of pink and green smoke.

The Spirit openers - Grace Harris and Danielle Gibson - are heading out now as well.

Tess Flintoff will open the bowling for Phoenix.

  4. Pick your team of the tournament

Team of the tournament - The Hundred women

As the third season of The Hundred draws to a close we want you to pick your women's team of the tournament.

We've brought together the top run-scorers and wicket-takers and looked at the best strike-rates and economy rates to provide you with a list of names.

We've given you some stats - runs, average (ave) and strike-rate (SR) for the batters, wickets, average (ave) and economy rate (ER) for the bowlers and a combination for all-rounders - to help you with your decision.

Pick your team here, and don't forget to share it on social media using #bbccricket.

Birmingham Phoenix captain Eve Jones: "We've come close to winning a few games bowling first.

  8. Phoenix win the toss and bowl

    Eve Jones and Charlie Dean

Spirit skipper Heather Knight is missing with a slight hamstring niggle so Charlie Dean is captaining the visitors today.

She calls wrong at the toss and Phoenix captain Eve Jones opts to bowl first.

Issy Wong returns as one of two changes for the home side. Charis Pavely also plays with Hannah Baker and Chloe Brewer dropping out.

Sophie Luff replaces Knight for Spirit.

  9. Post update

    Issy Wong

Hello! After 24 days we have reached the final double-header of The Hundred group stages.

Edgbaston plays host as Birmingham Phoenix take on London Spirit.

The women's game is up first and it is a real basement battle.

Phoenix are bottom and still looking for their first win, Spirit are a place and two points above them. Neither can qualify for the knockout stages - this one is all about pride.
