Right, that's us done for the day.

You can read Sam Drury's report from the last of four Hundred matches on this busy Saturday.

Tomorrow's action at Old Trafford gets under way at 11:00 BST. I don't think there's any other sport happening at that time.

    See you then.

The Invincibles are almost as good as through to next Sunday's final at Lord's. Only the Originals can catch them, but it would take a chunky swing in net run-rate.

Invincibles captain Sam Billings talking to Sky Sports: "We didn't want it to go on till Monday and wanted to get everyone fit and ready for that game next Sunday.

"Really great effort from the boys and we've deserved it. We've played some really great cricket.

"Having six bowling options changes the game especially when conditions are tough. When you've got someone like Tim David, you have to mix it up to him, cause if you bowl the same ball to him as we saw he really is one of the best hitters in the world."

  4. 'Stay still and swing hard'published at 20:53 British Summer Time 19 August 2023

Match Hero Tom Curran: "It's a big win so we're really pleased with that.

"It's hit or miss at the end there. Just stay still and swing hard! But when it comes off like today, it's really valuable.

"I think we bowled really well there because I think the wicket got better under lights. When they bowled, they bowled that heavy length and it skidded on.

"Our spinners bowled brilliantly, Sam [Curran] bowled excellently. The guys did really well.

"You come to these tournaments to try to qualify. It makes it that much more special to finish top and go straight through to the final."

The picture will be a bit clearer tomorrow, when there's two more games in each competition. Manchester Originals men have to beat Northern Superchargers, ditto for London Spirit against Welsh Fire.

Invincibles have a four-point lead at the top of the table, then there's a real scrum behind them. Four teams will think they have a shout of getting through.

David actually hit four of the last five four six. That middle period really cost the Brave. They were only two hits from winning the match, but got stuck against the spinners.
