  1. WICKET

    Dottin lbw b Wareham 3 (Originals 40-5)

No, that's gone! Three reds on the ball tracker, the ball going on to hit the top of off stump.

Three from 10 for Dottin and Originals have two new batters at the crease now with Kathryn Bryce and Amanda-Jade Wellington.

  2. Originals review

Is that Dottin gone as well?

Wareham has lbw and the umpire has their finger up. It does look a little high and Dottin's reviewing it...

  3. WICKET

    Threlkeld b Wareham 10 (Originals 39-4)

Ellie Threlkeld is bowled by Georgia Wareham

No matter, Threlkeld goes from the following delivery.

She goes for a big leg-side off the bowling of Georgia Wareham but misses entirely and is clean bowled. The Originals batter smacks the pitch with her bat in frustration.

  4. Threlkeld dropped on nine

    Originals 39-3

Alice Davidson-Richards should have a wicket!

Pulled square by Ellie Threlkeld and it should land comfortably in the hands of Lucy Higham. The Superchargers fielder isn't set and is in the air when the ball comes to her - it pops out of her hands, she gets one hand to it again on the way down but it hits the turf.

Her scrabbling dive does just about stop the boundary - the Originals run a single.

  5. Originals 35-3

Superchargers persist with Wareham and are rewarded with a two-run set.

Threlkeld almost chops onto her stumps but the ball runs away for a single.

  6. Originals 33-3

    Deandra Dottin

Here's Deandra Dottin, very much a momentum changer when she's set.

She starts with a single into the leg side. Early days.

  7. WICKET

    Wolvaardt b Wareham 8 (Originals 32-3)

Georgia Wareham is into the attack and has the wicket of Laura Wolvaardt!

The spinner deceives the South African opener, the ball cutting through low past her bat and felling the leg stump.

Wolvaardt departs for 8 from 11.

  8. Originals 30-2

Just the three runs off Kate Cross's third set, the Originals running two of them from an ugly Wolvaardt shot into the leg-side.

  9. Originals 27-2

Ellie Threlkeld comes into bat - she's promoted up the order, having only batted once previously in this year's competition.

She gets off the mark sweeping the ball to the square boundary.

  10. WICKET

    Morris c Davidson-Richards b Smith 12 (Originals 22-2)

Alice Davidson-Richards celebrates taking a catch

Superchargers introduce the spin of Linsey Smith and she has the wicket of Fi Morris in her first set!

Tries the drive but it's unconvincing and she just provides an easy catch for Alice Davidson-Richards at mid-off.

  11. Originals 22-1

Wolvaardt gets her first runs with a meaty inside edge off the bowling of Grace Ballinger, the ball skewing down to that fine leg boundary.

She follows up with a classic cover drive but it's straight to the fielder and that's just a single.

  12. Post update

Attention is split at Old Trafford.

There's a large group of fans huddled round the big screen watching the Women's World Cup final between England and Spain.

There's just over 15 minutes, plus added time, to go.

You watch that over here with radio & text commentary.

Fans at the Manchester Originals v Northern Superchargers Hundred women's games watch the Women's World Cup final on a big screen
  13. Originals 17-1

Ooof! Absolutely clubbed from Morris, advancing down the pitch and smacking Cross baseball-style down the ground, past the despairing mid-on fielder.

A positive start for Fi Morris, who struggled to pick up Cross's first few deliveries but now has two fours. Laura Wolvaardt is yet to face a delivery.

  14. Originals 8-1

Fi Morris is the next batter in, as Originals continue with the rejigged order they introduced against the Rockets.

Cross continues with a second set of five and Morris scoops another boundary down to the fine leg boundary.

  15. WICKET

    Lamb c Heath b Cross 4 (Originals 4-1)

But that's all Emma Lamb will do today!

Great bowling from Kate Cross, shaping the ball away and Lamb feathers an edge behind to Bess Heath, celebrating her 22nd birthday.

Bit of a muted celebration from Kate Cross against her former club.

  16. Originals 4-0

Emma Lamb has already surpassed her score against the Rockets, turning Kate Cross around the corner.

The ball absolutely dribbles to the boundary, the fielder is square and her drive can only parry the ball into the ropes.

  17. Post update

    Thanks Tom.

Northern Superchargers are out on the field, followed by Originals openers Emma Lamb and Laura Wolvaardt.

Woolvaardt had a bit of a time of it against Trent Rockets on Thursday, making just 23 from 31, hanging around for quite deep into the innings before being stumped off the bowling of Kirstie Gordon.

Lamb, meanwhile, was dismissed for just one.

  18. Post update

That total feels a bit below par to me, Superchargers just kept losing wickets regularly which checked their momentum.

Can Originals chase it down and end their losing run? Here is Mike Peter to guide you through their reply.

Video caption: Phoebe Litchfield superbly bowled by Mahika Gaur

Match Hero Mahika Gaur: "The tournament has been great, I've had a great time, particularly with the crowd. I've really enjoyed it.

"Up front there has been a good amount of swing, particularly today, that is why I bowled 10 at the start. There was potential for another wicket there.

"Phoebe Litchfield has had a great summer and is a brilliant batter so it was nice to take her wicket.

On her maiden England call-up: "It was a big surprise. I wasn't expecting the call-up so I am very grateful and honoured. I can't wait for it. Everybody has been super great and happy for me."

  20. BreakingOriginals need 108 to win

A scrappy end to the innings sees Lucy Higham play a wild sweep into the air but land safely. Superchargers scramble two runs before an overthrow means they make it three.

The result is Superchargers post 107-8 from their 100 balls, meaning Manchester Originals need 108 to win.
