England are in real trouble now.
I'm all for being aggressive and taking the game to the opposition but there has got to be a bit of game management.

The pressure is building all the time and now Freya Kemp has to make the slow walk back.
Kemp c de Silva b Dilhari 1 (Eng 72-6)
The pressure tells on Freya Kemp!
It's been great bowling, keeping the pressure on England's young all-rounder as she faces three dots in a row before buckling.
She takes a big swipe down the ground and is brilliantly caught at long-on. Again, it's a chance that they probably wouldn't have held on to a few years ago and their improvement in that department has been brilliant over the last couple of games.
This one was out, though.
Eng 72-5
As Isa said.
A wasted review. Gibson continues.

She's middled it!
Eng 72-5
Surely not?!
Sri Lanka think they have Danielle Gibson lbw first ball, but it looks like there's bat involved.

You can see what Amy Jones was trying to do by giving herself room.
She wanted to hit over the off side but she gave herself too much room and, for me, it's the wrong option when there is a big gap on the leg side.
Alex Hartley

England... what are they doing? They find themselves losing consistent wickets.
Jones st Sanjeewani b Athapaththu 20 (Eng 72-5)
Yep. England are unravelling again.
England's batters just keep making the same mistakes but it's beautiful bowling from Chamari Athapaththu, who deceives Jones in the flight and she plays a booming drive out of her crease and the keeper completes a smart bit of work.
England lose another experienced player.

Quick work from the keeper. Another good stumping.
Another?!
Amy Jones is stumped. The umpire has sent it for a review, but it seems a bit pointless.

This is a fantastic situation for Freya Kemp to come in. We know the power she has. She's a fantastic player, a team-mate of mine and I'm a big fan.
Halfway through and England will be happy with the run rate, but the wickets column is once again a concern.
Amy Jones has got to lead from the front now.

Smart bowling there, Dilhari fired it in that little bit quicker.
Knight lbw b Dilhari 18 (Eng 70-4)
Hitting middle stump. Not a great review, that.
And a poor choice of shot, just as it seemed like they'd figured out that playing straight was the best way to go.
The reverse sweep fails, and England's skipper has to go.
Russel Arnold
Former Sri Lanka all-rounder on BBC Two
That's out. It's very straight. She takes the review but she's not going to survive.
And as we say that, Heather Knight is given out lbw going for the reverse sweep.

Hit through the line by Jones. England have learnt well from Saturday. Don't play for the spin.
And again! Another glorious lofted drive for four from Jones, as England realise that playing straight is probably a good option.
