    Santner c Maxwell b Zampa 17 (NZ 320-7)

    Six, dot, gone!

Mitchell Santner fires Zampa over mid-wicket with a clip over his legs but doesn't quite get hold of roughly the same shot two deliveries later.

Glenn Maxwell is riding the boundary and calls for the catch, holding his arm out to stop a teammate, them steadies himself and takes it.

Zampa ultimately wins the Battle of the Bespectacled.

  2. NZ 314-6published at 42 overs

75 runs needed from 42 balls

Four more for Neesham, cleaving Cummins through mid-wicket!

He then takes a single to square and Marsh gouges a massive hole in the outfield in his recovery dive. Had he gone much deeper into the pitch, he'd have ended up buried to his waist.

The crowd chanted "Rachin, Rachin, Rachin" just like they used to chant "Sachin, Sachin, Sachin" in years gone by. That will mean a lot to Rachin, back in the country of his parents.

Jimmy Neesham skews the ball in the air... safe!

Another slower delivery from Cummins, and it befuddles the New Zealand batter. The ball falls behind two chasing fielders in the backward point region. Neesham runs two with new partner Mitchell Santner.

Pat Cummins knew how big of a wicket that was. Labuschagne held onto the catch and that could be the game.

We said at the start of this over that one more wicket would change this. Ravindra perhaps threw his hands at that one a little bit early. That could be the wicket that seals the game for Australia.

There's still hope that Neesham and the bowlers can give it a whack.

"Hup Holland, hup!" is the cry from a smattering of Dutch fans, all clad in orange, at Eden Gardens as Scott Edwards and Sybrand Engelbrecht up the ante against Bangladesh.

Edwards has a slender frame but he packs a punch, slapping Taskin Ahmed down the ground for four before heaving him over the head of the fielder mid-wicket for another.

However, Edwards' luck eventually runs out as he slices a drive off Mustafizur Rahman to the hands of Mehidy Hasan at point. He's gone for 68.

That brings the hordes of travelling Bangladesh fans to their feet in celebration.
