How has he dropped that? It has gone straight to him, he did not have to move.

I cannot believe it. Mohammed Shami with one of the worst dropped catches you will ever see.

Needing 9 or 10 an over with wickets in hand seems doable, but you only need to lose a wicket or have a quiet over or two, and it can spiral away from you very quickly. NZ need to be flawless here.

There are two kids in the box next to TMS. Both of them were stood absolutely aghast with their hands on their heads.
Incredible.
This lacklustre fielding virus is catching among India's players.
Unlike their fielders when faced with a chance.
An absolute sitter for Mohammed Shami as Kane Williamson pulls a Jasprit Bumrah off cutter across the line to mid-on, but he shells it.
The crowd cannot believe it.
Another Daryl Mitchell boundary as he swings through the line against Jasprit Bumrah. It goes high but does not quite have the distance and the Kiwi batter has to settle for a four.

Wonder if India will regret allowing Kohli to nudge his way to 100. Those few extra missed runs may prove vital.

For me, it's got to be spinners off, Shami on.
It is still a huge ask for New Zealand but they are still in it.

It's not a good time for the popcorn and iced tea sellers in the stands. You don't want nibbles in a situation like this.
Daryl Mitchell is keeping it simple, playing to his strengths of sweeping, reverse sweeping and hitting down the ground.
He reverse sweeps Kuldeep Yadav for another four.
It would be peak New Zealand to modestly chase down this mammoth total, upset the hosts, doing so in that friendly Ned Flanders manner.

Something is brewing. The DJ has got everyone clapping, picking up the noise.

New Zealand just need to hang in there, throw the occasional punch, and keep themselves in the game until about 35 overs.
The nerves are palpable Mumbai with Daryl Mitchell on the march...
A huge six from the Kiwi batter, who hits the roof of the Wankhede Stadium with a towering six brutally dispatched over long-on.
In fact, at 107 metres that was the biggest six of the tournament.

There are six India backroom staff or non-playing squad members around the boundary edge.
Messages are being sent on - drinks too.
Everyone is just a little tense.

This could be the next great opportunity for NZ, luck is on their side so it seems, long way from that super over.

This partnership is giving Rohit Sharma a bit of a headache.
The final two balls of Kuldeep Yadav's over and he has his hands on his head. Twice.
Kane Williamson chips him into the leg side but the ball drops short of long-on, before Daryl Mitchell bottom edges a cut which just misses his stumps.
Michael Vaughan
Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
Kane Williamson is the key. He can bat the majority of the innings without much of a fluster but he is skilful enough to pick up the pace when he needs to?
If he's still in at 40 overs, India will be very nervous.
Kane Williamson drives Kuldeep Yadav straight down the ground for a single to notch up his half-century. It's come off 58 balls.
