Cavan v Donegal (Breffni Park 14:00 BST)

The big news at Breffni Park is that there is no Shaun Patton for the visitors, the Donegal goalkeeper replaced by Gavin Mulreany.

There's another two changes to the listed team for Jim McGuiness' side too with Caolan McColgan and Conor O'Donnell coming into the side for Daire O Baoill and Oisin Gallen.

For Cavan, Cian Madden and Sean McEvoy are in with Jason McLoughlin and Ryan O'Neill out.

  2. Summer football?published at 13:54 British Summer Time 1 June

Derry v Galway (Celtic Park, 1400 BST)

Is it not supposed to be the summer?

It certainly does not feel like it here in Celtic Park as a torrential downpour of rain batters both sets of teams and officials as they go through their final preparations ahead of throw-in.

The pitch is solid underfoot but this rain will slicken the surface and make underfoot conditions slippery.

The wind will have an impact on this game also.

  3. Late changes in Celtic Parkpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 1 June

Derry v Galway (Celtic Park, 1400 BST)

Paddy Tally makes two changes to the Derry side named midweek with Ruairi Forbes and Anton Tohill dropping out as Dan Higgins and Niall Loughlin come into the team.

Galway and Padraic Joyce make one change with Sam O'Neill replacing Cein Darcy at left half forward.

  4. Team Newspublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 1 June

Derry v Galway (Celtic Park, 1400 BST)

It's the meeting of the two sides who lost their opening games in Group Four of the All-Ireland round-robin series, the stage better known as the 'Group of Death.'

Derry welcome Galway to Celtic Park buoyed by elements of their performance last time out at the home of the All-Ireland champions Armagh.

Battling back from thirteen points down to trail by four was a plus but what went before that was mostly negative, the did carve out a number of goal chances but struggled on their own kick-out.

Paddy Tally names the same side which started that game last week but is boosted on the bench by the return of goalkeeper Odhran Lynch and forward Lachlan Murray.

Padraic Joyce and Galway have had a fortnight to lick the wounds of a home defeat to Dublin in Salthill and Joyce makes just one change to that side with Jack Glynn replacing Cian Herron at left corner-back.

Herron drops out completely in a late approved panel change, Damien Comer comes into the Galway panel.

When these sides met in the league here it finished a hotly contested draw, that's the only point Derry have picked up in 2025, they've lost every single other league or championship clash.
