  7. Could Ferrari scupper McLaren?published at 15:35 British Summer Time 31 August

A problem McLaren will have is even if they want to evoke a hierarchy here, they can only do that if they are outright the fastest - and at the moment, if they've also got to battle with the Ferraris, then they are not collecting the points that they need.

Ferrari will take points off them, which is fundamentally going to diminish Norris and Piastri's hypothetical title charge.

It's so close at the top, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri in second and third were basically on identical times, two thousandths of a second is the difference and that's only Q1. Q3 is going to get pretty intense for the top spot.

What a dramatic end to Q1 there where we've unfortunately lost Colapinto, he was fast all weekend and I think he had the capability to get to Q2 but that big moment - he almost ended up in the wall if he hadn't managed to save it.
