It is remarkable to think that seven years ago, former rugby player Gerwyn Price was heading to the PDC Tour darts qualifying school, and now he’s in the world final.

Earlier this year, I took a trip to Q School - to a Wigan leisure centre to discover more about where darting dreams are made.

  13. Price wins fourth setpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 3 January 2021

Anderson 1-3 Price (1-3, fourth set)

As Chase The Sun (oi, oi, oi) plays out at Alexandra Palace, Gerwyn Price is the one bouncing around as he has a 3-1 lead. He is loving tops and that gets him to a two-set advantage.

Seven years ago he won a Tour card at Q School. Now he's up by two sets in the World final. Dream big.

Anderson 1-2 Price (1-2, fourth set)

A reminder of what's at stake. As well as the glory of becoming world champion, a very huge trophy and the top prize of £500,000 is on for the winner.

If Price wins he gets the additional bonus of becoming world number one. He checks out 120, continuing his perfection on D20.

Price leads 2-1 in sets and 2-1 in the fourth.

Anderson 1-1 Price (1-2, third set)
