This young man, Littler, has given all of the players a bit of a kick up the backside. They've realised he is a genuine threat to their standing.

Ice Ice Baby strikes up again and here comes Gerwyn Price.

After Luke Littler got a modicum of revenge over Luke Humphries in the quarters, it is Price after revenge now following his loss to the teenager in Bahrain.

    This should be some contest.

Gian van Veen 6-3 Danny Noppert

Gian van Veen, talking to ITV, about the issue with Danny Noppert: "We both don't know. I was 5-0 up and he told me to stop clicking my darts, and I told him I heard the same. I don't know where it was. We both kept hearing 'tick, tick, tick'. I know Danny, I know he doesn't do that, and I know I don't do that. I don't know what's wrong. We're still good friends.

"He didn't start great but then he played phenomenal. Maybe he got into my mind at 5-0 but thankfully I got there in the end."

    Littler v Price

Right then, it's semi-final time - and that means it is Luke Littler time again!

The 17-year-old takes on Gerwyn Price, who he beat at the same stage last week on his way to winning in Bahrain, for a place in the final.

It's now a best of 13 legs so a race to seven rather than six.

Gian van Veen made hard work of that in the end but he's nailed double 18 and that's all that matters to the 21-year-old.

An inquest is going on between the two on stage as to what the noise was that was disturbing Danny Noppert during the match.

Anyway, Van Veen sets up a mouth watering tie with Michael van Gerwen.

This would be a spectacular comeback.

We saw Van Gerwen come back under pressure from 5-2, Danny Noppert is surely starting to believe now that his opponent is starting to panic.

Gian van Veen 5-0 Danny Noppert

Danny Noppert has had four darts bounce out of the board, two out of treble 20. When it's not your night, it's not your night.

The two are having words on the stage, not entirely sure why but it ends in a handshake.

Anyway, Gian van Veen makes it a fifth straight leg and is now one away from a semi-final with Michael van Gerwen.

Four bounce-outs for Danny Noppert. Sometimes, thems the cards you're dealt with.
