American wheelchair racer Tatyana McFadden continued her pursuit of seven medals in Rio by winning the T54 5,000m, to follow on from her 400m gold and 100m silver.

The 27-year-old multiple world champion will try to add four more medals, in the 200m, 800m, 1500m and marathon.

We hope she's got extra baggage allowance on the flight home.

    Paralympic cycling

Former Formula 1 driver Alex Zanardi continued his dominance of Paralympic hand-cycling by adding the H5 road time trial title to his two gold medals from London 2012 on Wednesday.

The Italian, 49, who is a six-time world champion, won the gold on the eve of the 15-year anniversary of when he lost both of his legs in the American Memorial 500 Cart.

"I feel very lucky, I feel my life is a never-ending privilege," said Zanardi.

And then on Friday, they go head-to-head for the singles gold in an all-Brit final.

    Paralympic athletics

Kadeena Cox, your name is in the history books.

The 25-year-old has become the first British Paralympian to win two golds in two different sports at the same Games since 1984.

Cox's victory in the 400m T38 earlier today adds to the cycling gold she won in the C4-5 500m time trial and also the bronze in the 100m.

    Remarkable.

    Powerlifting

This question has been heard in gyms all over the place.

Anything over 100kg is pretty impressive, but Iran's Siamand Rahman would probably laugh at that.

He's attempting to lift a world record 300kg tonight in the men's +107kg class.

That's almost three baby elephants combined. Gulp.
