Will Eduardo get himself a goal? He's very keen to get in behind the non-existent Cameroon defence. He is almost in but takes an extra touch and is dispossessed.

Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay: "Great perseverance from Darijo Srna to keep the ball in play down the right and square it back to Eduardo. Eduardo was always looking to shoot, and I've not been convinced by Charles Itandje in the Cameroon goal. He spilled it out to Mario Mandzukic for one of the easiest goals of his international career."

Never mind Mario Mandzukic, the animated Italian plumber with his first name could have scored this. It's a goal that you would be embarrassed to concede down the park on a Sunday, never mind the World Cup finals.

Substitute Eduardo curls in a left-footed shot from 15 yards, Charles Itandje should hold it but spills it out and Mandzukic has 10 yards of penalty area all to himself and looks almost ashamed to score a tap-in. They could score as many as they want here.

Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay: "Cameroon are really throwing caution to the wind now and every time they break they're is a good chance they will be caught and Croatia score another. Ivica Olic has been excellent again tonight and with Eduardo coming on they are thinking about resting him ahead of the final group game."

Cameroon are set to become the first team since Switzerland in 1966 to lose six successive World Cup games. The record is eight in a row by Mexico (run ended in 1958) so that one is safe for at least another four years.

Jonny Craft:, external Cameroon look shocking, this has 5-0 all over it.

Ian Dobson:, external It's beautiful to watch Luka Modric orchestrating games like this.

Daniel Woodley:, external I could watch Luka Modric all day. A fantastic magician on the ball. Calm, composed and very, very clever.

"This lot are a hell of a long way from the Cameroon of 1990!"

The decision making on display here is on a par with a bad episode of the Apprentice.

Cameroon finally work a good opening with some decent play but Vincent Aboubakar smashes a shot yards and yards over the top when he had two men inside him. Woeful stuff.

Croatia replace Ivica Olic with Eduardo, formerly of Arsenal.

Mexico will have four points, Croatia three going into their showdown next Monday night. A win for either side will take them through, a draw would be good enough for Mexico.

Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay: "A beautiful header from Mario Mandzukic, but where is the marking? He gets away from Joel Matip and it's a free header, Charles Itandje the goalkeeper could do nothing about that. Croatia will be delighted, Mandzukic has not been playing that much for Bayern Munich this season. The Cameroon bench look forlorn.

"This leaves a lovely game set up between Croatia and Mexico to decide who will go through with Brazil."

Cameroon forward Vincent Aboubakar has a good run down the left but can't smuggle the ball across the face of the goal and Croatia almost counter at the other end. Cameroon are 3-0 down and only have one man back! Crazy stuff.

A man who would have made a good living in the English first division in the 1980s, Mario Mandzukic gets his name on the scoresheet with a classic targetman's header.

It's so simple, easy, for the big man too. There are seven Cameroon defenders in the area for a corner but no real challenge or marking and the Bayern Munich striker beats them all to the ball, thumping home from seven yards out.

Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay: "Croatia are now beginning to punish Cameroon. They have great technique, great movement, and more importantly an extra player. Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic are just keeping it simple, dictating the play, and Ivan Perisic and Ivica Olic are threatening with forward runs. We're seeing some terrific interplay."

Darijo Srna is a dead-ball expert but he can't keep this free-kick on target, launching it high over the top from 20 yards. Half an hour for Croatia to boost their goal difference.

Dave:, external Cameroon in 1990 and Nigeria in 1994 and 1998 looked like future of football but have been so disappointing since.

Henry:, external Must Real Madrid and Barca compete for every thing? First Pepe, now Song?

Scott Harding:, external Any team that goes down to 10 in this heat I feel for! It looks unbearable to play in as it is.

This is a pretty poor showing from Cameroon. Talk about going out with a whimper. Ivan Perisic leads them on a merry dance again and is hacked to the ground.

Cameroon have conceded 36 goals in their last 18 World Cup games and they are leaking like a sieve in Manaus. Mario Mandzukic could fill his boots here.

He's been linked with a move to Everton, Ivan Perisic. Been very impressive in both games so far.

And there's a cracking volley at the back stick from Cameroon sub Dany Nounkeu, very hard and not very high. Just over the top.

Brad Peterson:, external Pepe needs to hand over his 'most stupid sending off at the World Cup' award to Alex Song.

Matt Donnelly:, external Ivan Perisic, remember that name I have a feeling we will be seeing him in the Premier League. He's been the best player tonight for Croatia hands down.

Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay: "That man again Ivan Perisic with a beautiful run and a fantastic finish, The number five Dany Nounkeu, who has just come on, looks like he is towing a caravan there and could not catch him. And it all comes from a dreadful mis-kick from Charles Itandje. Cameroon have re-started very slackly. Croatia in the ascendancy."
