Colombia keeping their width in the opening exchanges as they threaten to get an early second.
Here we go again...
Stephen Collins: , externalOn today's evidence, Colombia could absolutely school Brazil on Friday. Exciting & inventive attacking footy.
Scotty Reynolds:, external Cahill's goal was more aesthetically pleasing but James goal was more matchwise important.
Arsene Wenger to raid his old club Monaco?
£30m plus Abou Diaby should swing it.
BBC sports news sorrespondent Richard Conway on Twitter:, external I think Arsene Wenger rather enjoyed that James Rodriguez goal for Colombia.
It was pretty similar to Maxi Rodriguez's goal actually Jonny. Good call.
Maxi's was out wide, and Hamez was central. But similar technique.
Peter McMillan:, external Colombia playing all the football - hope they go on to win. They might need another goal to see off Uruguay though.
Jonny Streatfeild:, external What is it about footballers called Rodriguez scoring thronkers in the World Cup last-16? (Maxi v Mexico, 2006)
James Rodriguez cost Monaco £37.6m last summer. So don't be thinking any of the 'bigger' teams will take him easily this summer. His worth is going up about £5m a week...

At the Maracana
"James Rodriguez's goal for Colombia has just been shown again on the four giant screens hanging from the roof of the Maracana - gasps all around the stadium. Breathtaking quality and a thing of beauty in real time and slow motion."
If you ever bump into James Rodriguez, don't call him 'James' by the way.
Apparently he hates it. You've got to go with the authentic pronunciation of 'Ha-mes.'

"The goal was outstanding and has been the bright part of the game. Yes, Colombia have dominated possession and will be happy even though they have not troubled the Uruguay goal as much as they should have.
"Uruguay are missing Luis Suarez. He makes a massive difference with his presence. When he plays, defenders know they are up against someone who can easily win the match."
Uruguay are obviously missing Luis Suarez, but they had better get used to that. He's got another eight games out of the team to go.
There goes the whistle. Colombia 45 minutes away from a showdown with Brazil.
HarveyWright:, external England need someone like James Rodriguez. Well we've got Jay Rodriguez I suppose.
Austine Christopher: , externalit's surprising that these guys have made us forget about Falcao
We won't get bored of seeing that goal over and over again. A first-rate belter. Almost half-time in the Maracana.
James Rodriguez has now scored in each of his last six games for Colombia. He is also the first player to score in the first four games of a World Cup since Ronaldo and Rivaldo for Brazil in 2002.
If I was Brazilian, I think I'd be worried about the prospect of facing this Colombia side in the last eight. They look very decent and have done since day one.
Actually, if I was Brazilian I'd be several hours into an intense all-dayer so I probably wouldn't be right now...

HNIC: , externalI don't see Uruguay's front men doing the damage.. Colombia should be wary of one man, and that is Diego Godin
