"I think you are seeing a lot of long balls from Arsenal tonight because it is so congested in that midfield area.
"Jack Wilshere just needs to time his pass right. You just see him take that extra touch at times. He needs to work on that.
"Arsenal need to be a bit more patient, they are trying to force it."

Even when he gets it wrong, it's right! Cristiano Ronaldo is at the apex of a swift counter-attack, his touch for once is heavy but he somehow digs out a left-footed cross from right on the goalline and it almost lofts over the head of Simon Mignolet. The keeper just about claws it out as Karim Benzema closes in for a header.
Half-time - which is seven minutes away - can't come soon enough for the men in red.
