"What an absolutely sensational game. City were out on their feet but now they have put themselves in a position where they can go to Rome and get through.

"That should give them a massive lift. With 10 minutes to go they were out.

"We were negative at times because City were poor and what would they do without Aguero? What can you say?

"Well done Man City and that man Aguero."

You're quite right Lawrence - and they needed two errors from Bayern Munich to claw their way back into the game. But you can't beat that for drama!

Would Manchester City beat Bayern Munich with 11 v 11 for 90 minutes? They will hope that they get the chance to try again later on this season.

Alan Watford:, external Aguero must be worth £100m - what a player!

Matt Gray:, external Man City without Aguero would be like Liverpool without Suarez.

Lawrence Vinicombe:, external Wow, Man City beat a team who played with 10 men for 70 minutes. A little perspective needed.

"At 2-1 down it seemed there was no way back. City had no invention, the body language was poor and they looked like a beaten team. But two defensive mistakes from Bayern have led to two City goals. Aguero is simply irreplaceable."

Another Aguerrroooo moment! Sergio Aguero single-handedly drags Manchester City over the line with his third goal of the night. From looking devoid of ideas and clueless to somehow getting back ahead, City have put their fans through the motions once more tonight.

Jerome Boateng is the villain of the piece, taking a poor touch to allow Aguero in and his finish is as calm as you like. What a striker, what a night...

Alex, Cardiff: Since his arrival Sergio Aguero has been the best striker in the Premier League hands down. Suarez was a flat-track bully who never scored a goal against the top four, RVP didn't have the pace or power to take a game and change it the way he does. Superb player who always turns up, and I'm a Manchester United fan.
