This is a rout. Yet another set-piece header yields goal number four. The delivery is so inviting and Atletico players are queuing up to score. Jimenez gets there first and slams a flying header into the net. It's the Mexican's first goal for his new club.

Raul Garcia is winding everyone in a white shirt up out there. Mind you, Suarez is the instigator, shoving into the side of Garcia, who then engages in a pushing contest with Banega and Bacca and picks up a booking.

Simeone is officially loving life again, waving his arms up and down and imploring the fans to raise the roof. A long-ball frees Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca in the box, but his touch is poor, and the ball goes off for a goal-kick.

Raul Garcia wrong-foots the keeper and finds the corner. This has to be Atletico's best performance of the season.

  5. PENALTY TO ATLETICOpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Blatant pen. Raul Jimenez finds Griezmann with a chipped pass, but as he turns he is taken out by the hapless Figueiras.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Sevilla make their final change with exciting youngster Gerard Deulofeu thrown into the fray. Premier League watches will remember his box of tricks from Everton matches last season. His latest loan from Barcelona has taken him to southern Spain.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

    Italian Serie A

So far so good for Juve. Carlos Tevez's goal means they are sailing smoothly on course to continue their perfect start to the new Serie A season.

Sevilla are still posing very little threat to the Atletico goal. Mbia attempts a drive from distance but a deflection takes all the sting out of it as it drifts harmlessly into Moya's hands.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Simeone makes his third and final change as Mandzukic makes way for Raul Jimenez. The Croatian in the black masts gets some warm applause for his efforts. Griezmann replaced Saul Niguez earlier by the way.

How have Juventus not bagged a second? I'm not sure. Atalanta shoot themselves in the foot, sloppily conceding possession inside their own area, with the lurking Patrice Evra ready to pounce. His dink picks out Spanish striker Fernando Llorente, who is disappointed to see his header drop past the wrong side of the post.

His team may be leading 2-0 but Diego Simeone is still leaping around like a man possessed. He absolutely tears a strip off Arda Turan for misplacing a pass.

Chance here as Raul Garcia breaks free on the right and crosses for sub Griezmann, who conjures a finish with his thighs and sends the ball over the bar.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:22 British Summer Time 27 September 2014

Back to back chances for Atletico. Mandzukic shaves the post with a header from Juanfran's cross, then Beto palms away Arda Turan's piledriver.

It has been coming. Carlos Tevez, as many Premier League defenders will testify, is an absolute nuisance. The Juventus striker has been at the heart of the away side's better moves and is 'Johnny on the Spot' to poke in Stephan Lichtsteiner's cross from the right. Deserved lead for the Italian champions.

Almost the breakthrough. Carlos Tevez unleashes a thumper which should present no problem to Atalanta keeper Marco Sportiello. I say should because Sportiello inexplicably fumbles the ball and pushes it on to his right-hand post before gratefully gathering. That could have been very embarrassing...

Still very bad-tempered out there. Mandzukic (above) goes down after receiving another elbow. Then Sevilla's Vidal falls to the ground as if he'd been taken out by a sniper after receiving the slightest of touches from Koke, who is booked.

Diogo Figueiras is seeing a lot of the ball on the right for Sevilla, but his end product is dreadful. First he floats a cross straight into the arms of Moya, then he boots the ball straight out of play for a goal-kick.

Meanwhile, striker Raul Garcia is putting himself about alongside Mandzukic up front for Atletico.

Juventus are doing most of the running in Bergamo - but haven't tested the home keeper yet. Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal is the latest culprit, firing hopelessly high and wide from distance. Spiky atmosphere among the Atalanta fans, some of who have been lobbing objects on to the pitch. Juve are looking far from intimidated though.
