Good evening and welcome. It's been a real summer of turmoil up at Blackpool.

Two weeks before the start of the Championship season new manager Jose Riga only had eight contracted players to choose from after falling out with chairman Karl Oyston over transfer policy. On the morning of the season opener, having made 12 signings in 12 days, Riga still said he only had nine players registered but the club was able to select a full starting 11, if not a full substitutes' bench.

How times change. Four years ago to the day, Blackpool fans were travelling back from Liverpool having watched their team win 2-1 at Anfield, in the process moving up to ninth in the Premier League table in what was their first season in the top flight since 1971.

Fast forward to the here and now and the club are rock bottom of the Championship, without a win this season, and fan discontent has reached boiling point.
