"Andros Townsend needs to keep his width. He keeps drifting inside and it is very congested there, with Harry Kane and Robert Soldado. If he stays out wide Moussa Demble will be able to find him, because that is where the spaces will be. Width is key."

"Fantastic half for Newcastle. Alan Pardew will be delighted, he could not have asked any more of his team. City have been nowhere near their best. On clear-cut chances you could say Newcastle should be 2-1 up. Paul Dummett had a great opportunity but volleyed straight at City keeper Caballero."

"Brighton are defending in numbers and it is hard to break down when teams do this and Brighton will get more and more confident as the game goes on.

"What is important for Spurs is that they are patient, because eventually they will wear teams down. As a midfielder, if you are in a side that is defending like Brighton are eventually your legs start to burn. Tottenham need to keep the tempo high and keep pressing."
