Telegraph journalist Jason Burt: "I think he is under scrutiny.

"Sometimes the responsibility has to lie with the players. With his coaches, if a change is needed it would be a big upheaval.

"The Loic Remy transfer to Chelsea at the end of the window has hurt them. They should have had a contingency plan. It's still quite early to be pulling the trigger.

"Rio Ferdinand hasn't been very convincing, he's been the biggest disappointment. A decision needs to be made about whether he stays in the team."

Stoke keeper Asmir Begovic: "QPR have some quality players, they will take time to gel. I'm sure they'll get better as the season goes on. Harry has seen it all before, this won't panic him.

"They are going to be in a relegation fight. They aren't far off where they should be. I don't think it's a huge time to panic."

Leeds are sliced open by Rotherham and Matt Derbyshire should do better when he is played in on goal but his shot is straight at the keeper. In the build-up to the chance, Leeds skipper Jason Pearce sustains a nasty-looking facial injury in a challenge with Alex Revell. After a couple of minutes of treatment, the strapping centre-half is fine to continue.

    BBC Radio 5 live

Daily Telegraph journalist Jason Burt: "There are certain jobs you can't just go back and do. I'm not saying he should never work in football again - I just don't think he should play again.

"Footballers are role models even if some of them don't think they are. I wouldn't expect to be a journalist again if I committed a crime like that.

"He has a right to work again. Unfortunately my natural sense of 'yes he should have that right' is counteracted by the nature of the crime. There's been no remorse - although he denies it - and football is slightly different to normal jobs."

Ex-Scotland international Pat Nevin: "I understand everyone who says he should never play again.

"Where do you draw the line? Is football different to everything else? Does he never get a job anywhere else?

"I'm happy I'm not the PFA chairman who has to stand by his members. Anyone who argues he should never play in England again, I wouldn't be angry with them. But I think they have to understand the other point of view.

    "I'm completely conflicted."
