The first half was bit of a non event but, with the quality of player on show, surely there is better to come.

It seems Spain fans get as excited about friendlies as England fans do. The atmosphere is like a practice match at the moment.
Real chance for Germany as Kevin Volland races clear on goal but, with Mario Gotze waiting for the pass across, Gerard Pique recovers to block. The Hoffenheim man was too slow there.

Just as I speak, Nolito almost gives the hosts the lead. He collects the ball 20 yards from goal and bends a shot towards the corner, which is parried away by goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler. That will give him some confidence.
