Big chance for Manchester United! Wayne Rooney pops a great ball through into the run of Robin van Persie - onside - but he lacks conviction and his tame effort is easily saved by Brad Guzan. Put your foot through it Robin!
Double figures for the season for Charlie Austin and parity for his QPR side.
The former Burnley man is on the spot to bury the loose ball as Ben Foster palms Richard Dunne's header back into the six-yard box.
Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on Final Score
"I personally think United are out of the title race. I think they'll finish in the Champions League places but they won't win the league. But today United need to show a reaction in the second half. They are conceding a lot of chances and that is not a team that will win the league."
Former Blackburn striker Jason Roberts
BBC Radio 5 live at Villa Park
"Christian Benteke will be disappointed not to have scored there, it was a free header. Either side of David De Gea and it's a goal.
"Louis van Gaal has made a good move bringing Tyler Blackett into central defence at the break. The athleticism of Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor caused Michael Carrick problems in the first half and United need Carrick's passing in midfield."
Muhamed Besic left his mark ob several Saints players in a combative first-half performance, and he almost has his mark in the scorebook with a speculative 20-yarder that squirts wide of the target.
Aston Villa have Manchester United on the rack immediately. Fabian Delph has a shot deflected behind and from the resulting corner David De Gea stretches backwards to tip over a bullet header from Christian Benteke.
He has produced some big saves in the last few weeks and that could turn out to be as valuable as any.
Burnley attack Spurs from the kick-off with Ashley Barnes playing in Danny Ings and the striker has his effort turned wide. From the resulting corner, Ings is again denied by Hugo Lloris.
We are back under way.
Tyler Blackett has been brought on at the break for Manchester United, Darren Fletcher giving way. That means that Michael Carrick is ushered forward into midfield.

"Manchester United look pedestrian and Aston Villa have been fantastic. They took their chance and still look dangerous with the pace of Christian Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor going forward. Angel Di Maria can make a huge difference for United if they bring him on, but credit to Villa. This has been down to how well they have played - they have taken away United's's strengths and capitalised on their weaknesses. Well done Paul Lambert."
Wycombe are heading four points clear as they lead 1-0 at Accrington after a goal from Paris Cowan-Hall. Cheltenham, Luton and Plymouth hold one-goal advantages against Portsmouth, Newport and Dagenham and Redbridge respectively.
It is another miserable afternoon for Blackpool fans. Their side have only twice in the league and they trail 2-0 at home to leaders Bournemouth at half-time after goals from Matt Ritchie and Callum Wilson.
Ipswich, who will go second, also have a two-goal advantage against Middlesbrough at Portman Road. Daryl Murphy and Jay Tabb on target for Town. Brentford are 3-0 up at Cardiff, Blackburn and Fulham lead by 2-0 margins against Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday respectively. Rotherham and Brighton are winning away from home at Wigan and Wolves respectively.
Bristol City are goalless in their away game at bottom-placed team Crewe. Barnsley, Port Vale and MK Dons hold 2-0 leads against Leyton Orient, Crawley and Oldham respectively. Elsewhere, Bradford, Fleetwood, Chesterfield, Preston, Notts County and Doncaster are all winning.
Bruce Ha: I would put Paddy McNair into the back three and push Michael Carrick into midfield. Darren Fletcher's passing has been pedestrian at best.
David Broome: Always liked Fletcher but he's off the pace and killing a lot of United's attacks. We're dominating possession so get Ander Herrera on.
Sushant Shetty: Not sure what Herrera has to do to get in. Definitely deserves to start over Fletcher.

Manchester United are not short of options going forward. The whole of the midfield have made their average touch over the halfway line, with Michael Carrick (16) sitting deep as a Beckenbauer-style centre-half.
Aston Villa have been a lot deeper. Matt Lowton (34) has had his hands full containing the threat of Ashley Young (18).
Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta:, external "Great win today to celebrate the birthday of the big man Martin Demichelis!"
As it stands West Ham are level on points with Manchester United in the race for the Champions League. Andy Carroll went from villain to hero within a minute during that first-half. Can Leicester come back?
Will Walter: Erik Lamela just doesn't score normal goals, what a hit!
Anand Sriraman: Got to give it to Lamela. He hasn't scored very many this season. But when he has, he just blows the mind away.
James Porter: Harry Kane at it again! That boy is worth 10 Roberto Soldados.

James Finn: Oh the irony. The first time United play well for ages and keep possession and we're probably going to lose.
Mwatekowa: David De Gea son, don't be deflated. You've been great but not even Manuel Neuer could stop such magnificence. Simply brilliant from Benteke!
Nicholas Richards: Glad to see Darren Fletcher playing, but he has been poor so far today. Given the ball away too much.
