Amidst all that excitement, DR Congo bring on Neeskens Kebano for Cedric Mabwati.
And now DR Congo should be level! Panic stations in the Congo defence as Dieumerci Mbokani heads a long ball across the face of goal and Jeremy Bokila, arriving at pace, can only sidefoot it past the post from six yards. He had to score there.
Festus Abrah-Yeboah: Congo vs Congo :) more like a Continental derby ;) I tip the DR. of the two to edge it with a thriller at the end.
Game over? Game on! Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie shows electric pace to beat Marvin Baudry down the inside-left channel, and his cutback is turned in by Dieumerci Mbokani from three yards.

"Every single member of the squad rushed to Thievy Bifouma to celebrate that goal for a great big song and dance."
BBC World Service's Matthew Kenyon in Bata
"Absolutely disastrous defending, they gave that ball away. Thievy Bifouma basically walked the ball in from behind the keeper who had committed himself.
"Congo are certainly heading for the semi-finals. Claude LeRoy will tell his players to control themselves and not give it away in the way that DR Congo appear to have.
"They have absolutely thrown it away."
Dreadful defending from DR Congo costs them what could be the clincher. A poor pass out of defence from Jean Kasusula is intercepted, Ferebory Dore is played through on goal as the keeper rushes out, his effort is blocked on the line but it rebounds to Thievy Bifouma, who slams home. That's his third of the tournament - he's now the outright top scorer.
And it's curled onto the bar by Cedric Makiadi with Christoffer Mafoumbi helpless! Congo just about scramble the rebound clear. Good response to going behind from the Leopards.
Dieumerci Mbokani, who has played as well as anyone for DR Congo, shows good strength to win a free-kick in a central position 20 yards out...

"There's an inquest going on in the DR Congo defence. The keeper wants to know what his defenders were doing. Ferebory Dore was given the freedom of the six-yard box. There's no surprise the skipper Robert Kidiaba is so livid with his defenders for not getting a head onto it.
"This game has sprung to life in the last two or three minutes."
And having survived that close shave at the other end, Congo take the lead. Dimitri Bissiki curls in a free-kick, Cedric Mongongu doesn't hold the defensive line and that allows Ferebory Dore to stay onside as he raids round the back to prod home from point-blank range.
BBC World Service's Piers Edwards in Bata
"It was a super strike, he absolutely caught hold of it. A couple if inches lower and it's in the back of the net. Keeper Christoffer Mafoumbi was beaten."
That's the closest we've come, and it should have been 1-0. DR Congo pump a long free-kick into the box, Dieumerci Mbokani heads it down into the path of strike partner Jeremy Bokila, and his volley shudders the crossbar from eight yards. Should have scored.
DRC defender Gabriel Zakuani goes to ground off the ball, and the stretcher is brought on - it doesn't look like the Peterborough man will be able to continue. Surreal scenes as the medical cart comes on, and crashes into Zakuani on the stretcher - that won't help. Sure enough, Joel Mpela comes on to replace him.
And immediately there's a huge penalty shout for DR Congo! A long ball is pumped forward, and striker Dieumerci Mbokani gets the wrong side of Dmitri Bissiki and tumbles under the defender's challenge. The referee waves it away - big call.
Off we go again in Bata.
OK, so there wasn't a great deal of creativity on show during that underwhelming half, but there is hope: Congo's Thievy Bifouma and DRC's Yannick Bolasie both created seven chances for their team-mates in the group stage, more than any player still in the competition.
Neither of these sides scored in the first half of any of their group games either. Perhaps it was always destined to be a slow burner.
BBC World Service's Piers Edwards in Bata
"An edgy, cagey half has resulted in no goals despite some decent DRC efforts, they definitely had the better chances."
After an uneventful added minute, the referee brings the first half to a close. DR Congo have drawn their last six Afcon matches, and we're level at the break here. It's not been a classic...
