An early opening for League One leaders Bristol City at Ashton Gate, as Greg Cunningham gets a cross in from the left and striker Matt Smith - on loan from Fulham - heads wide. And yes, that is the same Matt Smith who scored against Liverpool and Everton in the FA Cup for Oldham two seasons ago.

"Looking at the stats today, there is nothing between these teams. West Ham have had the better start of that there is no doubt, but these are two very well matches sides."

Top effort by Everton fans. Well over 3,000 Toffees fans have made the journey to Upton Park to cheer on their side. It's not gone unnoticed.

"I think Everton are going in the right direction. The late equaliser against West Ham was so important for Roberto Martinez and what he has been preaching for this Everton side. Then they get a credible draw against Manchester City to give some confidence ahead of this replay."

  13. 'We always play well at Upton Park'published at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2015

Everton manager Roberto Martinez tells BT Sport: "Since the late equaliser in the first game we have felt a real energy from the squad and the performance against Manchester City proved that. Sometimes you get moments that turn your season and that goal may do that.

"When you play against West Ham you know you have to be set up and prepared as they will put the ball into the box. We earned the right of a replay and we always play well at Upton Park."

  15. 'Lukaku is such a big threat'published at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2015

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce tells BT Sport: "We will try to finish the job tonight and we're only missing Winston Reid, who picked up an injury at Swansea.

"It's easier than in the Premier League as someone has to win, we're playing at home so let's see if we can get in the opposition box and get some goals.

"Romelu Lukaku has scored every time he has played us, even when he was on loan at West Brom he scored. He is such a big threat and a good player but the onus is on us to break them down."

"I think West Ham are favourites. They are a strong, physical, powerful side and difficult to hold when they're in form. There's a belief about this West Ham support that they could have a good Cup run this year.

"I think Sam Allardyce has had to change. There were directives from the chairman, they wanted the side to play a certain way. Everyone is enjoying themselves at Upton Park."

The Hammers are leaving their home for the last 111 years and moving to the Olympic Stadium for the 2016-17 campaign. Lose to Everton and the Boleyn Ground might not stage another tie in the famous competition.
