Thanks very much, once again, for joining us for the live coverage. I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening. All the best.
We'll have highlights of the game on our website at midnight.
BBC Scotland football pundit Craig Paterson
"Kilmarnock have got to pick things up in their next game. They still have a chance of a top-six place but if they play like they did in the first half they will never catch St Johnstone."
Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston
"We've got to kick on. We can't afford to play like we did in the first half,. The second half was a million times better. Mark Connolly and Lee Ashcroft have done well for us but Manuel Pascali can play in midfield for us."
Celtic boss Ronny Deila applauds the travelling support after the match.
Celtic manager Ronny Deila
"We had that period in the second half when we took too many touches, but then we got the second goal. Henderson was very good, especially in the first half. Him and Kris."
Iain, Edinburgh: "Given how much Commons contributed tonight you have to wonder what he's done to upset Deila and keep him out the team!"
Stephen Thumath, Dumbarton: "I think the problem there is hardly anyone there is due to the fact that the game is on a Monday night whilst also on sky. I think we all know that Celtic normally bring a decent away support and no agenda against the Kilmarnock chairman."
Stephen: "Re attendance, to be expected, live on TV Monday night and discount of £15 only for Killie fans. They could have 12000 in by charging £6 - make the same money and more atmosphere plus bonus of programme, food stall sales etc. don't know how some footie chairmen are successful in business."
Marcella, Clydebank: "To 'Anonymous'. Definition of pathetic is refusing an opposing team access to your pitch for half an hour to see what it is like - before playing an important tie."
BBC Scotland football pundit Murdo MacLeod
"Look at Scepovic. How many chances did he have? Commons must have had seven or eight shots and most of them were on target."
As Celtic go for a third, Kris Commons slides in to the net but not with the ball as he is a fraction too slow to meet John Guidetti's cross from the right wing.
We're into the second minute of injury time as Celtic sub Callum McGregor rounds off an ambitious run with a shot at goal that deflects out for a corner.
Celtic's Swedish striker John Guidetti has been a determined figure since coming on as a sub for Stefan Scepovic. You can sense he is desperate to get another scoring run going.
This win, unless there's an astonishing comeback, puts Celtic one point behind Aberdeen but with a game in hand. They move three points clear of third-placed Hamilton. Killie will stay in seventh place in the Premiership.
BBC Scotland football pundit Craig Paterson
"A lot of Celtic players are just going through the motions now and seeing out the three points."
Despite the close proximity of Killie players, Stefan Scepovic is quickest to react to Efe Ambrose's header and scores from close range.
A shot by Emilio Izaguirre is blocked, surely with a raised arm, by Mark Connolly. The Killie defender, just inside the box, was a good 15 yards away from the Honduran and turned his back on the shot. That goes down as a "seen them given".
Kilmarnock make a substitution. Manuel Pascali replaces Jamie Hamill.
Robbie Muirhead has a rare glimpse at the Celtic goal but his shot is too high to register as an attempt on target.
Anonymous: "Never mind knocking the Kilmarnock fans Andy....why are there so few Celtic fans at Rugby Park tonight?? Suspect it's still nonsense relating to Michael Johnston abstaining from vote on Rangers.....pathetic."
A change for Celtic - Darnell Fisher comes on for the final 15 minutes or so, with Adam Matthews off for a rest.
