"Does Mauricio Pochettino look like Danny Dyer to you?"
White Hart Lane is shellshocked following that early Arsenal goal. Spurs have enjoyed 64% possession, but there's only one stat which counts. Both Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are being direct as they try to haul their side back into it, but the Arsenal defence looks well organised today.
A bit of a penalty shout for Arsenal when Ryan Mason hits the ball against his own arm in the area. Martin Atkinson is not interested, and rightly so.
Peter Collins: Wow. Just wow. What a goal. What a finish. That was class.
Kerry Peter Parvin: Ozil's been putting them away since being back from injury.
Tokunbo: Danny Rose is not only bad defensively, he offers nothing going forward as well. Get a proper left-back in!

Tottenham almost respond immediately and Danny Rose is given acres of space on the left to drive forward and arrow a low shot towards the bottom corner, only for David Ospina to make another good save.

"Brilliant play from Danny Welbeck down the right to storm past Danny Rose. There was a mistake in the Tottenham defence that allowed the ball to run and Mesut Ozil volleyed the ball in superbly well. Hugo Lloris looked as though he wanted to appeal for an offside but there was no doubt about the finish."
From nowhere, Arsenal take the lead via a devastating counter-attack. Danny Welbeck drives down the right, skinning full-back Danny Rose, and picking out Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman mis-hits his effort in the area, but the ball lands nicely for Mesut Ozil to volley home from six yards out. The Gunners have lift-off thanks to the revitalised German's third goal in as many games.
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, missing today because of a hamstring injury:, external Good luck today, team! I would love to be there with you! Come on!
Still Tottenham take it to Arsenal in these early stages and Danny Rose flies down the left flank but steers his cross straight into the chest of David Ospina.
Tottenham won a corner following that Harry Kane strike, but they are pressed back after taking it short. Poor - why weren't they whipping it into the box underneath the nose of the injured Arsenal goalkeeper? Short corners are my personal bugbear.

"After a brilliant, fast attack from Tottenham, David Ospina turned Harry Kane's shot past the post. It was a fine save, but Ospina looks like he just caught his finger as he made it. Or perhaps it is his knee, but he certainly suffered a problem making the save and Wojciech Szczesny was told to warm up straight away."
Oh dear, David Ospina looks to have hurt himself in making that save from Harry Kane. After a minute or so of treatment, he is back to his feet.
First chance of the game... who else? The darling of the Lane, Harry Kane, picks up the ball on the edge of the area and curls a right-footed shot towards the bottom corner but it's turned round the post by David Ospina.
Are Tottenham on the verge of a successful few years under Poch? I reckon they are. The improvement they are showing week after week must be pleasing to Spurs fans. They continue to pen Arsenal into their own half without creating a chance.
Spurs are hogging the ball early on and Erik Lamela, wearing gloves, is already keen to drift in from the right flank onto his left foot. Nothing doing so far though.

"There is an incredible atmosphere here as you would expect. This will always be a big game. This area of north London is massive and the bragging rights are so important to its people. Arsenal have a fine record against Spurs, almost too fine to discuss at times. Arsene Wenger has done brilliantly since he came here, and as he strolls down below us in his technical area, he might be putting his long coat on before too long, it's quite nippy."
A cacophony of noise greets the referee's whistle. Tottenham enjoying plenty of early possession.
The big day is finally here. The recurring dreams of victory are no longer, bets have been struck with work colleagues and the happiness of your weekend hinges on the next 90 minutes. The north London derby is under way.
Cheers and jeers as the players enter the field. Now for some handshakes. Always a little strange before a derby. Plenty of palm slapping going on.
The players stand side by side in the tunnel. Harry Kane is almost snarling as he stares firmly into the distance. Can his season get any better? Of course it can...
