The stats sheet has just landed on my desk. Sixteen attempts on goal by Barca - nine on target. Granada had 10 attempts themselves but Barca enjoyed 69% of possession. That's pretty impressive.

Five minutes of normal time remaining and, barring a catastrophe, Barca have their 19th La Liga win in the bag. Granada will take positives from this but they have been undone by some excellent quality. The La Liga title race is still alive.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2015

Luis Suarez's work is done. The Uruguay forward receives a standing ovation from Barca's travelling support as he is replaced by Pedro. Another terrific performance by the former Liverpool man.

Has Lionel Messi won it for Barcelona? One thing is certain - the Argentina forward won't score an easier goal. Luis Suarez, who has had another good game, does all the hard work by rounding the keeper after springing the off side trap. Suarez can go for goal himself but opts to pass to the unmarked Messi on the edge of the six-yard area. Easy.

High drama. Lass Bangoura is felled in the box by Marc Bartra, who escaped a penalty claim in the first half, but does not do so here. His dangled leg was too tempting and the Granada man goes over. Fran Rico confidently converts right footed to Claudio Bravo's left. Granada can't, can they?
