  1. BLACKPOOL RELEGATEDpublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 6 April 2015

Tim Arstall: Sorry to see Blackpool go, especially as a Birmingham fan with Lee Clark. He's a great fighter, but no tactical genius.

Danny Rosamond: Disagree that Blackpool were a decent Premier League outfit, they were relegated after one season after all.

Ben Watson: Never mind asking what's gone wrong at Blackpool? What went right is the question you should be asking... Well, you wouldn't get a response I'm afraid.

Could Wolves steal up the outside and clinch consecutive promotions after successive relegations in 2012 and 2013? Manager Kenny Jackett thinks so…

"Are Wolves capable of getting into the Premier League and sustaining it? In my opinion, yes."

Not much room for doubt there, then.

  3. The race for the Premier Leaguepublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 6 April 2015

Bournemouth's comeback from 2-0 down to win 4-2 at Birmingham means they are now top but there are just two points separating the top four. Promotion hopefuls Norwich, Watford and Derby were also winners, while Middlesbrough lost and Brentford drew. It's now time to hand over to Richard Winton, who will see you through the action between Wolves and Leeds.

  4. Wolves v Leeds (17:15)published at 17:03 British Summer Time 6 April 2015

How do you think the Wolves players have spent the past couple of hours? Have they been keeping an eye on the scores elsewhere and monitoring the ever-shifting Championship landscape or has it been a case of putting fingers in their ears and chanting 'lah, lah, lah'?

Either way, this afternoon's results means that a victory over Leeds this evening will not only propel them into the play-off places but will also leave them poised within five points of the automatic promotion places with six games remaining. Glory beckons.

  5. BLACKPOOL RELEGATEDpublished at 16:59 British Summer Time 6 April 2015

BBC Radio 5 live's Alistair Yeomans: "Great relief around the New York Stadium for the home fans. Rotherham seven points clear of the relegation zone for now.

"Feel for Blackpool though. They have finally been put out of their misery after an awful season."

BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener at the Goldsands Stadium: "A happy Easter Monday for Bournemouth, who kept Birmingham pinned down right to the final whistle, with Harry Arter rattling the post with a trademark left-foot rocket from distance, while substitute Kenwyne Jones is denied a second headed goal in two sub appearances as Blues keeper Darren Randolph keeps the score down to four.

"Eddie Howe's side will take a one-point lead into the final five games of the season. Birmingham will hit the Bank Holiday traffic returning from the seaside, wondering what could have been after they led 2-0."

  8. BLACKPOOL RELEGATEDpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 6 April 2015

Dean Blackhurst: Sad day for Blackpool. A day manufactured by the club owners. A disgrace.

L Higgins: What's gone wrong at Blackpool? Well a Chairman that has lost the faith of fans and potentially players. Recipe for failure.

James McDowell: You want to know what's gone wrong at Blackpool without our breaking any libel laws? Ok, let me try...sorry, can't do it.

A huge goal in the promotion race. Tommy Smith crosses and Jota heads home to level for Brentford.

Brentford have a chance to equalise, proper drama but Tommy Smith's header is deflected wide for a corner.

If relegation-bound Wigan are looking for causes for their predicament this season they only need to look at their home form. After the game against Derby, they won't have won in 18 games at the DW Stadium since last August.

It's non-stop Brentford pressure now. Seconds left. Andre Gray has a shot blocked. Forest keeping the ball in the corner now.

Joe Owen: Malky Mackay is the worst thing ever to happen to Wigan.

    No-nonsense Joe Owen.

The speakers have gone haywire at the DW Stadium. A bit like Wigan's season.

Brentford putting plenty of pressure on Nottingham Forest now with three minutes left. This is their fourth consecutive corner...

    But it's cleared.

Sheffield Wednesday will have to play the rest of the game with 10 men as Claude Dielna goes off injured with the Owls having already made their three substitutions.

Chris Humphrey makes it 3-0 to Preston against Bradford and that, surely, is that.

Fleetwood are running riot against Yeovil and Ashley Hunter has made it 4-0 to the Cod Army.

Colchester have turned the match on its head against Barnsley and now lead 2-1 thanks to Jacob Murphy.

Josh Wright has scored for Leyton Orient to make it 3-3 in what sounds like a cracking tussle with Gillingham.

Goals flying in everywhere (except for Peterborough v Walsall and Rochdale v Port Vale).

Former Wigan and Derby winger Kevin Kilbane
    BBC Radio 5 live

"It's going to take something spectacular for Wigan to get out of the bottom three. They have five games left after this and, if Rotherham win, which they are doing, they will be eight points from safety."
