What another enthralling night at the top of the Championship. The race for automatic promotion to the Premier League is going down to the wire after Middlesbrough return to the summit following a gutsy win at Norwich. We're back with all the action from Saturday's games, starting with the 12:15 BST game between Wolves and Ipswich. There's also the small matter of an FA Cup semi-final between Reading and Arsenal. Until then...

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka: "We don't have players in the same numbers as Watford, Norwich and Bournemouth. We have to be consistent because we do not have so many strikers and not so many goals as the other teams. This win is absolutely vital for us.

"We have two games and we have to wait for a mistake from Bournemouth or Watford. We have won the first one of the three and now we have to win the last two. But for now I am very proud of my players."

Norwich will not give up on automatic promotion but they are going to have to win their remaining two games to stand any chance. The Canaries go to struggling Rotherham next on 25 April before hosting lowly Fulham on 2 May.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka tells Sky Sports: "We have 25 players who fight for every single ball and when they play their best they deserve to be in the Premier League for sure. A lot of their players played in the Premier League last season but some of ours came from League One and League Two. I'm very proud of the whole team. We did our job but now we have to wait."

"You have to be careful not to celebrate too soon. Tonight feels like Middlesbrough achieved something, they've still got two big games left and it's still in Bournemouth's hands don't forget.

"It's a huge win and they've put pressure back on the rivals. Bournemouth and Watford need to respond now, you can't write anyone off but Boro are certainly in the driving seat now."

  10. Player reactionpublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 17 April 2015

Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson tells Sky Sports: "Norwich dictated play after we scored and it was a case of digging in. It was do or die. If we hadn't won today, even if we had got a draw, that our automatic promotion dream would have been over. Fingers crossed a couple of teams around us will drop points."
