Didier Drogba going through an intensive warm-up at the break. Can he be the difference maker?

  2. The £200m manpublished at 16:59 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

Asked if £100m would be enough for Chelsea to part with Eden Hazard, Jose Mourinho said this week: "Plus one of their [Real Madrid's] three best players.

    "£100m each leg - he's very young."

Every one has their price, and £200m plus Gareth Bale sounds a good deal...

Dave, Los Angeles: Arsenal have no answer to Chelsea tactics. Brilliant Mourinho again; poor ref again. Bring on video refs!

Will: Chelsea getting all 11 men behind ball. Diving and time wasting since about 30 mins in. Arsenal need to mix it up - Giroud near-post run is being cut out every time.

Dan, Newcastle: Who keeps saying the Premier League is the most entertaining? Real Madrid vs Barca you won't see one team parking the bus and without a recognised striker

Rob, Swindon: Thank goodness for halftime. Will be in cardiac arrest by the end of this match

  4. Player of the year?published at 16:55 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

Eden Hazard may well be named PFA player of the year later on tonight. But he's had a very quiet half there.

No shots, chances created, key passes - in fact he hasn't recorded a single attacking statistic in 45 minutes.

Mesut Ozil - by the way - had three key passes for Arsenal.

Can we help out Jose Mourinho and referee Michael Oliver here? They have differing views.

Is this a foul by David Ospina on Oscar?...

"Arsenal have shaded the play, but Chelsea have had the best chance with Ramires. This is an Arsenal side that has been playing really well - Mourinho will says it's a good performance if he doesn't get beat."

  7. Postpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

    Phil McNulty
    BBC Sport chief football writer

"Frantic stuff at The Emirates and contentious penalty claims ignored at both ends. Ramires missed the big chance of the half for Chelsea and Arsenal must beware of not getting suckered into the single mistake that Jose Mourinho's side are the masters of profiting from."

"From front to back both sides have been excellent. It's been an excellent first half, lacking only a goal."

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

Half-time. I know people often say that a 0-0 is 'enthralling' or 'a fascinating tactical battle' when it's actually boring, but this has been a good game. Honestly.

Sunil: Already looking forward for Mourinho post-match interview. Chelsea clearly better team. Should be 3 or 4 ahead by now.

Hashim: That's handball by Cahill and a penalty for Arsenal. And Chelsea should have had two or three. Horrible refereeing thus far.

Cletus: Why is Ramires such a sluggish player? He remains our weakest link

Intricate, fiddly stuff from Arsenal on the edge of the box ends as Mesut Ozil turns away from a man and squeezes off a shot. It's lacking in power and an easy stop for Thibaut Courtois, but some of the passing was superb in that passage of play. Arsenal on the edge of their very best football.

Alexis Sanchez has had 50 touches so far - 15 more than the busiest Chelsea player - who is Cesc Fabregas. Gunners past and present.

  13. Postpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

Alexis Sanchez now drags a shot wide after a fine cut back from the left. Top class game on our hands now.

"That was brilliant from Willian who burst into life. Before you know it he's in the opposition box. He slid it into Ramires, who should have done better. It's a warning to Arsenal - Willian went through them like a knife through butter."

  15. SITTER!published at 16:39 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

This is brewing into an excellent game now. Ramires should score but he can only toe-poke a tame effort at David Ospina after Willian's mesmeric run and pass down the left.

What a pass, took four men clean out of the game. Brilliantly weighted, great vision. Superb. Not matched by the shot.

On the ball hitting Gary Cahill's arm in the penalty area: "I don't think it was deliberate. He's slid in and his arms are flying around. It's bounced up off his arm and hit his leg, not a penalty for me."

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

Arsenal now want a penalty! Hector Bellerin hooks the ball back across, Santi Cazorla gets a shot away and it deflects up onto Gary Cahill's arm. Cahill blocked the ball with his arm but it was at point-blank range. Cahill didn't have his arms out high - would have been harsh. But both sides now feel aggrieved.

Arsenal craft another counter but Alexis Sanchez overcooks his ball across...

Shane: Why on earth is Oscar still on the pitch!? Clearly a head injury and the medical staff had to help him get up, he was all over the place! What will it take for them to realise how serious concussion is? He should be off as a precaution

Mo: Jose Mourinho already noting down his comments about the match officials and only 25 minutes played

James, Aldershot: Chelsea have dived twice and we're only 22 minutes in. This is why no-one likes them and they will be undeserved winners

"The first half-hour has flown by here at Emirates Stadium - with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho probably feeling the current penalty rejection count stands at three. Arsenal had plenty of the ball early on but Chelsea have settled to their task and are getting men forward into dangerous positions despite the lack of a recognised striker."

  20. Postpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 26 April 2015

Only one shot on target in the game so far, Oscar's chip which was cleared off the line. Arsenal seeing enough of the ball without hurting Chelsea - ask Manchester United about that.
