How close is that?

Lucy Bronze to Eni Aluko to Jill Scott. The England midfielder is through on goal but she dallies and is crowded out. A shot sooner and England would surely have been celebrating.

The lose ball is worked out wide to Karen Carney, who delivers a teasing cross but Scott is stretching and can't turn the ball in.

Why didn't Scott shoot first time when the ball was played to her earlier in the move?

That was travelling. Fara Williams strikes a thunderbolt from 30 yards. It hits a German player in the box and England are unable to get onto the loose ball. More appeals for handball against Bianca Schmidt, but no.

At the other end Anja Mittag's chip is straight at Karen Bardsley.
