Hibs have moved star man Scott Allan out to the left for now, with Liam Craig going into a central role. Is that an attempt to outfox young Andy Murdoch, who has been following the Championship player of the year like a shadow?

BBC Scotland's Richard Wilson at Ibrox

"Rangers hold a slight advantage and potentially a significant mental edge now. Hibs don't need to chase the game, not with a second leg at Easter Road still to come, but they do need to be more creative and put Cammy Bell under more pressure. Rangers have looked most threatening on the counter attack, and when Vuckic is on the ball, but still fragile in defence. Both managers can say to their players to approach the second half in the same manner, because the game is still finely balanced."

Here's the moment Ibrox went wild... Nicky Clark (14) gets on to the end of Ricky Foster's cross to send Rangers into the lead just before half-time.

And what about Rangers? How will they approach the second 45 minutes? Stick or twist? They were getting the runaround in spells there but in Haris Vuckic they have the most dangerous player on the park and there may be more room for him if Hibs commit numbers forward.

Hibs boss Alan Stubbs will have been pleased with his side's slick passing but he'll want to see some end product in the second half. What will his message be at half-time? There's no need to go chasing things since there is a second leg to come on Saturday.

BBC Scotland' Tom English at Ibrox

"I thought Hibs, for the most part, were the better side, with a lot of nice possession but they weren't really asking Cammy Bell any questions. They've thrown the heavy guns at Rangers but not created a lot and now they have a problem. It was a fantastic goal and Rangers will have all the confidence now."

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Always a nice time to get a goal, and more so when your team has been second best for most of the match. Hibs have looked the brighter side but they trail to that Nicky Clark strike, set up by a piece of Haris Vuckic magic.

  10. GOALpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Hibs stand off Haris Vuckic on the edge of the box and the Rangers playmaker lofts and audacious pass over the top for Richard Foster to run on to. The full-back drills it in low and hard and there is Nicky Clark with a nice flicked finish inside the six yard box.

  11. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Scott Allan bombs a corner into the six yard box for the visitors and it looks like Hibs defender Paul Hanlon heads it straight over but the officials give another corner. The second delivery is knocked behind and the third causes a few problems before being scrambled away.

  12. Postpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Kenny Miller may be getting on a bit but the veteran Rangers striker has still got the energy to get back and help out his defence when required, this time heading clear at the back post, with David Gray waiting to pounce.

  13. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

He does. But it's a poor effort, straight into the defensive wall.

  14. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Haris Vuckic twists away from Lewis Stevenson and is brought down by the Hibs left-back. Will the Rangers playmaker fancy a crack from the free-kick?

  15. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Nicky Law curls the free kick towards the back post from the left and Hibs keeper Mark Oxley does well to fend it away.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

The first booking goes to Hibs midfielder Scott Robertson for blocking off Nicky Clark on the left edge of the penalty area.

  17. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

BBC Scotland's Richard Wilson at Ibrox

"Hibs have been the more assertive and composed side at Ibrox. It was typical of the sense of desperation of some of Rangers' defending that Marius Zaliukas fell over as Dominique Malonga ran at him, but both sides have looked capable of creating chances. It is not helping the Hibs goalkeeper Mark Oxley that the home fans are pelting him with the paper they used for a pre-match display, although Hibs can feel more at ease with this game so far."

  18. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Now Hibs race forward and Dominique Malonga dumps Marius Zaliukas on his backside with a bit of trickery then flashes the ball across goal. Jason Cummings is at the back stick but the ball just zips under his foot. Did he take his eye off it? Criminal, if so.

The ball is worked back to Malonga and he goes himself this time only to slip when shooting and his tame effort is gathered up by Cammy Bell.

  19. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Rangers enjoy a wee spell pressure, with Hibs blocking a couple of efforts before Kenny Miller's fizzing effort from the right flies straight at goalkeeper Mark Oxley.

  20. Postpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 20 May 2015

Scott Allan shows a great turn of pace to get from deep inside his own half to the edge of the penalty area and slips a neat pass through to Domnique Malonga. The striker's cut-back is scrambled clear for a corner.
