Farid El Alagui earns a yellow card for crashing into Lee McCulloch; Hibs frustration is building under the Easter Road sun.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs, on the touchline arms folded and sporting a Joachim Low-style white shirt with sleeves rolled up, is cutting a frustrated figure. His side has all the possession in the world but appear to have little idea as to how to score.
What a save! Dominique Malonga fires in a 25-yard howitzer but the diving Cammy Bell does brilliantly to tip the ball away for a corner. That was destined for the bottom corner. The Hibs fans thunder their appreciation; is there life in this play off second leg yet?

Hibs haven't got their shooting boots on so far in this game. Dominique Malonga drags a shot wide with Cammy Bell rooted to the spot. More groans from the Hibs fans as manager Alan Stubbs brings on Farid El Alagui for Liam Craig.
Rangers hold a two-goal lead from the first leg as both managers at Easter Road seek the breakthrough.

Rangers slice through Hibernian with ease as the galloping Lee Wallace plays a neat one two with Kenny Miller but the defender then balloons a shot high and wide.
The second half is under way at Easter Road. No changes for either side under sizzling sunshine.

"Hibs have to go for it and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a change at half-time. Dominique Malonga just isn't doing it..."
bringthemonjpn: "#bbcscotfootball "Wee Stuarty" will surely tell his players to go for the "snatch and grab" immediate second half goal. McCulloch moving up"
tom and 20 others: "#bbcscotfootball I wouldn't say Malonga's a passenger but he reminds me of a kid upstairs at the front of a bus pretending to be driver"
Despite a bright start, Hibs fail to breach a determined Rangers rearguard and, at the break, Stuart McCall's men retain their two-goal lead from the first leg.
Dominique Malonga zips a dangerous ball into the box but defender Marius Zaliukas is there to clear from under the Rangers bar and the visitors survive.
John Joseph Friary: I do fear that again Hibs will be the better team but Rangers the more capable at grinding out a result! Not nice but effective.
BBC Sportsound pundit Craig Paterson
"Hibs have lost their way and, without Scott Allan, I don't know where a goal is coming from. Credit to Rangers."
