    As well as being a Basque against Catalan final, Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona pitches two of the most successful teams in the history of the competition together.

    The two teams have won it an amazing 49 times between them, while this is the third time in seven seasons they have met in the final.

    In 2009 Barca ran out 4-1 winners at the Mestalla in Valencia, Athletic losing 3-0 to the same opposition three years later at the Vicente Calderon in Madrid.

    Barcelona fans will greet the team with a 30,000-piece mosaic displaying the motto 'Making History' ahead of the Copa del Rey final.

    Over 37,000 Barca supporters will be at Nou Camp to cheer on the team and they will display a giant mosaic composed of 30,000 pieces that will display the colours of the Catalan flag and those of the club.

    Kick-off in the Copa del Rey final is just over a quarter of an hour away and Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has hailed Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar as the best strike force he has ever played with.

    Iniesta has won 22 trophies in a stellar career at the Nou Camp playing alongside the likes of Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o.

    But the 31-year-old Spain World Cup winner believes the South American trio's return of 117 goals this season puts them on another level.

    "I have had the chance to play with the best strikers in the world at this club. At the moment to have these three players is something incomparable," he said. "For me all three are the number one, all three are still young and have spectacular potential."

    Auxerre might be from the second-tier of French football but PSG boss Laurent Blanc is taking nothing for granted.

    In 2009, then-second-tier club Guingamp beat Rennes 2-1 in the final.

    "That's the charm of this cup," said former Manchester United defender Blanc. "We will approach the game with a lot of respect. Auxerre are in the final because they have earned their place."
