It's probably the right result. Bournemouth shaded the first half. Villa came out after the break with a lot more intent.

Rudy Gestede is the best at what he does in the country. People can't handle him. He went for £6m and people are talking about £12m for Jordan Rhodes. It doesn't make sense.

If I'm Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe I'd be a bit worried with what I've got in the dressing room. I might just dip back into the transfer market.

It was always coming. Ashley Westwood stood that delivery up. Gestede's movement reminds me of Andy Carroll.

Rudy Gestede is playing up top. Villa boss Tim Sherwood has spotted a weakness behind Charlie Daniels, so it'll be balls up to Gestede from Villa.

Ever wondered how many games your team have played during your lifetime? Goals scored? Trophies won? Managers employed?

BBC Sport's new feature My Premier League Life allows fans to discover all of this and more about their favourite current Premier League club.

Here's an example of how it all works:

    Jack Grealish

In the 19 years since Jack Grealish came into the world, Villa Park's turnstiles have spun round more than 30m times as fans passed through its gates - a footfall equivalent to almost half of the UK population.

The first Villa match after Grealish was born was a 2-0 victory at home to Wimbledon in September 1995. Dwight Yorke went on to score 17 goals that season as Villa finished fourth, but Grealish has been alive for Villa to win just one trophy - the 1996 League Cup.

That would have been the perfect time to score a goal for Eddie Howe's side. Marc Pugh did everything he could do - unfortunately the effort was straight at Brad Guzan.

Callum Wilson rolls Ciaran Clark. His second touch was poor though. If it finishes 0-0 he'll kick himself for missing that chance. He's better than that.

It takes four or five games before the players become properly match-fit. Pre-season is not the same as this. You don't have the same adrenalin.

Villa haven't got going. It's like they expect to win this game. They've tried to spring forward Gabriel Agbonlahor. But you can't always expect him to run on from behind.

Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew did well at Lorient last season and I expect him to do well in the Premier League.
