The teams head in for a breather after an entertaining first half. Stoke have just about shaded it, but Norwich have hung in and made the most of just about the only chance they had.
Russell Martin goes into the book for throwing his elbow at the ball as Stoke clear an attack from Norwich.
More fine work from Shaqiri as a pinpoint pass from deep finds Diouf. He races goalwards but Brady does just enough the thwart the Stoke goalscorer
Marko Arnautovic tries to reach a ball over the top on the edge of Norwich's area but is flagged offside as Whittaker struggles to reach and clear.
Kaushik Gorai: This year all the mid table teams have made some good signings. Just look at that Stoke City midfield. Just unbelievable!
Robbie Brady, without a goal for two years, is a yard away from breaking his drought as he curls a free-kick wide of Butland's left-hand post.

"For Norwich's first game against Palace, it was almost as if they'd said: 'We are back in the Premier League now, let's be a bit more defensive'. But they've come back at Stoke hard now and will create chances with the players they've got. They went at teams last season - that's how they got promoted."
Despite having yellow and green shirts swarming around him at all times, Shaqiri keeps finding space. He eludes three defenders to thread the ball to Glen Johnson, but the ex-Liverpool defender is just offside.
John Ruddy gets away with one. The Norwich keeper's clearance goes straight to a Stoke shirt, but thankfully for Ruddy, Diouf is miles offside as he collects the return and slides the ball home.
Alex Tettey clatters Shaqiri in the centre circle with a foul that looks like one borne of frustration after a fine opening spell from the Stoke record signing.
GOAL! Russell Martin had just seen Butland pull off a fine save from a header, but seconds later he latched on to a through ball from Nathan Redmond and shot through Butland's legs.
Was it something manager Alex Neil said in the drinks break?
Alex Tettey chances his arm from distance but his effort flies harmlessly wide. Referee Mike Dean calls for a water break, giving everyone a chance to gather themselves on a roasting day in Norfolk. It's not gone down too well on the terraces, with some boos ringing out.
Shaqiri does his defensive duties this time, tracking Brady back to the edge of his own area and frustrating the Norwich player so much that he fouls his Swiss opponent.
Opta Joe, external: 4 - Mame Biram Diouf has scored four times in his last four Premier League appearances. Glance.
Excellent work from Jack Butland, who races to the edge of the box to dive at the feet of Steven Whittaker, who had sprinted clear for Norwich's first moment of real threat.
And there I was about to say that Shaqiri had barely featured as yet. It was a fine delivery, but Norwich's defence was caught napping.

Final Score
"It's a brilliant ball in from Xherdan Shaqiri - there is so much pace on it that the Norwich defence just cannot cope. It looks a simple header for Mame Biram Diouf but that goal is all about the quality of the delivery."
GOAL! Xherdan Shaqiri makes an almost immediate impact, swinging in a free-kick from the right that skims over the defence, allowing Mame Biram Diouf to stoop in and nod home from the six-yard line.
Brady swings in the first corner of the match, but it doesn't even get as far as the near post before the home defence clear it easily.
The game is being played at walking pace, but Robbie Brady breaks the shackles with a quick run down the left that Geoff Cameron ends with a clattering, clumsy foul.
