Great defending again from Palace as they clear a deep free-kick! Chelsea still come, and in numbers...

    Man City 2-0 Watford

A little tangle between City sub Kelechi Iheanacho and Valon Behrami. Free-kick to Watford - it looked more dramatic than it actually was. Nothing to see here, folks. Let's move on.

"There aren't many teams going to the big clubs with an inferiority complex any more. I think you'll see clubs like Palace pulling off surprises like this more often this season."

    Football League latest

Sheffield United are on course for revenge for last season's League One  play-off defeat to Swindon with a quick double from Neill Collins and Billy Sharp setting up a likely fourth successive league win as the Blades lead 2-0.

Winless  Colchester have come back from 2-0 down to level 2-2 against Scunthorpe with defender George Elokobi equalising with his first goal for the club.

Hull look to have banked the points in the Championship against Preston with Curtis Davies volleying them 2-0 following a corner.

Carlisle  now lead  Hartlepool 3-2 in League Two  thanks to a goal from the prolific Jabo Ibhere, while AFC Wimbledon lead Exeter 2-1.

Corner to Villa. Big leap from Micah Richards. Over the bar.

He'll get a few goals this season, Fantasy Football managers.

    Man City 2-0 Watford

Some might say it's only Watford, but Manchester City have looked impressive at the back this afternoon. They seem to have four men round the ball whenever Watford look threatening. Or do the Hornets lack movement and nous?

Can Palace hang on? Chelsea have four or five men forwards at all times now and could get done on the break again.

    Jamie Vardy (Pen 86 mins)

When in doubt, put your foot through it. Jamie Vardy smashes a penalty home, and even though Artur Boruc gets hands to it he can't keep it out.

Sunderland are living on the edge now - relying on a mis-timed shot from Rudy Gestede to remain on level terms.

Jamie Vardy into the box like a bull in a china shop - tripped!

    Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester

BBC Sport's Mark Mitchener at Vitality Stadium:  "Leicester have had their best spell of the game, with Bournemouth having to dig in, their players throwing themselves in the way as the visitors surge forward. But as the Foxes commit more men in attack - as they have to at this stage - Wilson's pace does leave them vulnerable to a Cherries counter-attack."

Jason Roberts on Final Score: "Mark Noble wins the ball there. If that doesn't get rescinded, we can all go home."

    Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

Jason Roberts on Final Score:  "Chelsea don't win the first ball in the box - that can happen. What is fatal is that they don't win the second ball - Ward gets to it first."

GOAL - Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palacepublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 29 August 2015

    Joel Ward (81 mins)

Palace back ahead! More great play from Bakary Sako who hooks a cross from the left back across goal, full-back Joel Ward is in the danger zone but has plenty to do as he flicks a diving header into the far corner. What a header! What a result! Potentially...

  20. RED CARD - Noblepublished at 16:38

    Liverpool 0-2 West Ham

It's all going on at Anfield. Hammers down to 10 men now as skipper Mark Noble gets a straight red for a lunging tackle. He is utterly bemused.
